An early look at the Dancing With The Stars ballroom with a few changes for Season 18.

SAN DIEGO, March 17, 2014 –  Season 18 of “Dancing With the Stars” gets underway tonight with a new co-host, Erin Andrews; 12 stars including athletes, TV and film stars past and present; and a new twist in the competition, “The Switch.” It is the most fun part of the season for many fans. Everyone in theory has a chance to win.

Some fans love to see who has the most talent right out of the gate. Others adopt stars who have never taken a twirl on the dance floor and love watching them improve. Still other stars use DWTS as a way to transform themselves and leave a troubled or difficult period of their life behind. Wherever they start and wherever they finish, for 17 seasons every competitor says appearing on “Dancing With The Stars” is a life-changing experience.

Our first live chat of Season 18 of Dancing With The Stars might not be life-changing, but we promise it will a lot of fun. Bring your opinions and your observations and join us in the virtual ballroom at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

In the meantime, vote in our DWTS Season 18 poll. Who will win this season?
