Every manufacturer is producing something to meet your needs at multiple price points with some impressive features. But this one blew us away! This His Turn – Her Turn, Lauren Fix and Paul Brian review one of their highest ranked cars ever! It surprised even them. Watch as they break it all down and fill you in on the all-new 2020 Lincoln Aviator.
Trim level choices:
Lincoln offers two trim levels, the Reserve and the Grand Touring available in ten exterior colors. The biggest difference is the driveline or power; the Reserve is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with 400 hp / 415 lb-ft Torque with a 10-speed transmission. You can have the Reserve in rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel drive. The entry base price: $56,190 — we tested a loaded Reserve with a window sticker of $74,920.
Grand Touring is the green-powered engine. Its PHEV has huge power, 494 HP / 630 lb-ft torque, and is mated to a 10-speed transmission. The Grand Touring is only offered in all-wheel drive and has two EV specific drive modes with a 400+ mile targeted range. Prices start at $68,800, we tested a loaded car with Black Label service, which is highly recommended at $83,670.
The Aviator seats 6 people comfortably in the second row with the third row better for smaller people. The modern style and materials continue to impress us with seven interior color themes.
If you love a top-quality audio system, you’ll be blown away by the Revel Audio system. The 10.1” center screen offers you all the information on its multimedia screen. One of the best features of the screen is the adjustability for the driver and passenger front seats, offering multiple adjustments as well as six massage settings with 10 steps of adjustability in each. Chimes from musicians are more welcoming and less in-your-face, more calming, luxurious, quiet and unique.
Safety features include Co-Pilot 360, intelligent communications with road signs, traffic conditions, park assist plus, evasive steer assist, adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, and more.
Lincoln Aviator introduces an advanced suspension system that pairs pothole mitigation and Lincoln technology to delivers a smooth, refined ride. Lincoln (AWD) Adaptive Suspension with Road Preview uses a forward-facing camera to see upcoming bumps in the road, then automatically adjusts settings faster than a blink of an eye to mitigate the unpleasant impact; available Air Glide Suspension further enhances Aviator’s gliding ride. 12 sensors are always adjusting the system for a luxurious ride. These advanced technologies work together to seamlessly handle any given road surface, providing passengers with a smooth, gliding ride.
Lincoln-Way keeps all the car’s information on your phone, schedule an appointment, fuel level, unlock doors, available parking, fueling options, notifications, car payments and charging locations for plug-in cars, all on your phone, which is your key.
