WASHINGTON, November 22, 2016 – Thanksgiving is not about turkey. While many feasters build their Thanksgiving bounty around a fresh Tom Turkey, vegetarians also enjoy the tradition of sharing a meal with friends and family, giving thanks for the bounty in their lives.
Adapting a menu to include those with dietary restrictions or preferences is not hard, and creates an inclusive – and thankful- atmosphere for all guests. You don’t have to chuck the turkey, but you might want to make some small adjustments or additions to make sure everyone is included.
