Will Rep. Nunes House Intel referrals finally reveal Democrats conspiracy
WASHINGTON: Last Thursday, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), ranking member of the House Intel Committee, says he is prepared to submit criminal referrals to the Justice Department. Today on Sunday Morning Futures, Nunes confirms that the criminal referrals to the Justice Department allege intelligence officials made false claims, lied to Congress and conspired to weaponize the DOJ and FBI in a coup d’etat against an elected President.
“We’re prepared this week to notify the attorney general that we’re prepared to send those referrals over and brief him if he wishes to be briefed,” Nunes said on Fox News.
Claims made during the Russian Collusion investigation that were false and based on the Clinton bought and paid for Trump dossier.
Nunes telling Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo of his “major concern” that:
“The FBI-DOJ falsely claimed this investigation did not begin until late July. We now know for certain that is not true.” He added, “We are prepared now to at least submit our first criminal referral we think will grab everybody that we need to grab to make sure that there is a proper investigation” or “at least our referral over to DOJ.”
House Intel will send criminal referrals to AG Barr
The week promises to hold plenty of high-drama as Rep. Nunes tells the Fox audience that the referrals include:
- Referrals that name names and a specific crime, like lying to Congress, misleading Congress, and leaking classified information.
- Three conspiracy referrals that reference FISA abuse including lying to the FISA Court ad misleading the FISA Court.
- The Global leak referral refers to at least a dozen highly sensitive information leaks to a small pool of reporters. The reporters refer to “anonymous sources” or “high-level sources.” These leaks include information from conversations that the president had with other heads of state used to further discredit the president with an assumed gravitas of information reliability.
The Russian Hoax Conspiracy
Conspiracy defines as a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful, “a conspiracy to destroy the government.” Conspiracy charges being referred by the House Intel Committee involve manipulation of intelligence and intelligence gathering. This includes how intelligence gathered was used to indict other people and promote the Russian Hoax to the American people.
“There are about a dozen highly sensitive classified information leaks that were given to only a few reporters over the last two and a half-plus years, so we don’t know if there’s actually been any leak investigations that have been open, but we do believe that we’ve got pretty good information and a pretty good idea of who could be behind these leaks,” Nunes said. “Doesn’t mean we know all the people behind the leaks because when you read these a lot of these they’re always anonymous sources, and they always say something to the effect of current and former senior officials.”
According to Nunes, the insurance policy is much more conspiratorial than just the investigation.
“There could be multiple people. The conspiracy could be up to two dozen people We know Strozk and page but there are other people, above and below Strozk, that need to be interviewed. “You have the leader, the deputy supposedly and another top lawyer were involved in the chain of custody of the Steele Dossier.
It is impossible for me to believe that those two top lawyers, very smart lawyers did not know in mid-2016 that the information was dirt coming from the Democrats.”
The lies to the FISA court, the Strozk – Page insurance policy, the Clinton bought Dossier all mean it is time for Attorney General Barr to take the steps to not only reveal the very real conspiracy to overthrow the Trump government. The House Intel Commitee is also asking how deep into the Obama Administration – The President, Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Valerie Jarrett and others – the conspiracy reaches.
House Intelligence Committee’s Two-Year Investigation
Chairman Nunes has been working for two years on the Russian Collusion investigation, saying people have to be held “accountable for this nonsense. ” In his interview, Nunes lays out that Hillary Clinton created a false narrative whose only goal was to bring down Donald J. Trump as a President.
The goals of that narrative range from impeachment to sending the President to jail for treason (Blumenthal: “There Are Indictments In This President’s Future,” When He Leaves Office Or Before)
One of the President’s opponents, Richard Blumenthal, appears on Morning Joe saying:
“Even more so now than ever before, according to the intelligence we’re receiving, we need to understand what Vladimir Putin and the Trump campaign may have done together, but also the obstruction of justice that was done by the president of the United States in real time.
There are indictments in this president’s future. They’re coming. Whether they’re after his presidency or during it, obviously the Department of Justice has said you cannot indict a sitting president.”
Nunes Describes Democrats New McCarthyism
Writing in the Washington Examiner (The Russian collusion hoax meets unbelievable end) Rep. Nunes says:
While the hoax was fueled by a wide array of false accusations, misleading leaks of ostensibly classified information, and bad-faith investigative actions by government officials, one vital element was indispensable to the overall operation: the Steele dossier.
Funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democrat National Committee, which hid their payments from disclosure by funneling them through the law firm Perkins Coie, the dossier was a collection of false and often absurd accusations of collusion between Trump associates and Russian officials. These allegations, which relied heavily on Russian sources cultivated by Christopher Steele, were spoon-fed to Trump opponents in the U.S. government, including officials in law enforcement and intelligence.
Speaking on Fox this morning, Rep Nunes describes the events as a strange situation where you have McCarthyism merging with Watergate wannabees, Government leakers all seeking to be the next Deep Throat.
Who was Deep Throat?
William Mark Felt Sr. was a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) employee from May 1942 until his retirement in June 1973. His final position of Associate Director is the Bureau’s second-highest-ranking post. Associate Director Felt served as an anonymous informant, nicknamed “Deep Throat”, to reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein of The Washington Post.
Felt provided the Washington Post reporters with the critical information about the Watergate scandal, leading to the resignation of President Richard Nixon in 1974.
The whole Russian Hoax, looked at with an eye toward history is obviously a bid to repeat Watergate history, giving Democrats the glory of bringing down yet another Republican president. The only history that one can predict with any certainty that will be repeated is President Trump’s re-election in 2020
Leaks that the House Intel Committee has hopefully uncovered are proof of, and will reveal the duplicitous, if not illegal, actions of Peter Strozk, Jim Comey and Andrew McCabe along with others.
“Every time we peel back the onion, we find the DOJ and FBI officials, as high as the Obama Administration, intentionally misled the America people.” – Devin Nunes
