CHARLOTTE, NC, April 9, 2014 – There was a time when a “CARE package” represented a charitable donation to poverty stricken parts of the world. Today a “CAIR package” is likely to be an act of terrorism. Clearly times have changed.
Perhaps one of the reasons American’s have so much difficulty identifying all the players in global terrorism is because there are so many groups to identify. One day it’s Al-Qaeda. The next day it is the Taliban. There’s Hamas and Hezbollah or Boko Haram and the Muslim Brotherhood. A of which have so many splinter organizations it is impossible to know all the players without a scorecard.
The fact that it doesn’t matter makes little difference. Americans are so geared to putting labels on things that we cannot seem to function under the concept that it all boils down to the lowest common denominator of Islamic jihad.
In the United States there is a well known Muslim front group known as the Council on Islamic-American Relations or CAIR. Supposedly it is a “moderate” Islamic organization created to establish better cooperation with and understanding of Muslims. Baloney.
CAIR is nothing more than a front for Hamas, which has its roots in Palestine which is, in turn, linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. In the simplest terms, CAIR is anything but “moderate.” So the question then arises, as to why a group like CAIR has free reign to conduct its business in our country without any interference from the current administration.
It further rouses curiosity as to why Secretary of State John Kerry would be spending so much valuable time, energy, money and other resources to bring together Israel and Palestine for “peace negotiations” when there are numerous more pressing Middle East matters of concern. Not that the situation is not important, but just that the animosity between the two enemies has been raging so long, why make it a priority now when other things should take precedence?
Does anyone care that CAIR’s headquarters are only a block from the U.S. Capitol, or that Barack Obama has no less than six advisors on his staff who are card carrying members of the Muslim Brotherhood or that maybe those interests have something to do with the administration’s efforts to snub Israel while attempting to negotiate with Iran over their nuclear program?
Here is a little history lesson presented in a much simplified form because the details are literally beyond comprehension. CAIR came into existence when it was incorporated in 1994 by three leaders of a Hamas organization which no longer exists called the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP). It is important note that our government has designated Hamas as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
When the leaders of the U.S. Palestine Committee, essentially Hamas, met in Philadelphia in 1993 to create what is now CAIR, the FBI was on hand with all manner of surveillance and wiretapping equipment.
The evidence shows that CAIR was created as a “public relations organization” for Hamas. FBI analysis of the meeting eventually revealed in a trial that, “The purpose of this meeting was to determine their course of action in support of Hamas’ opposition to the peace plan and to decide how to conceal their activities from the scrutiny of the United States government.”
With such undeniable evidence that CAIR is part of Hamas, the government listed them as an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial and a member of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee. The Holy Land Foundation trial, as it was called, was the largest successfully prosecuted trial of Hamas and terrorism financing in U.S. history.
That being the case, then why is Mohamed Magid, the President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) a sitting member of the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Committee who works directly with John Kerry, holds briefings for National Security staffs and serves as a moderator for CIA panel discussions?
Does the term “fox in the henhouse” come to mind?
Somewhere, somehow, someone has created the idea of “moderate” Islam. There is no such thing. CAIR’s ultimate goal is to mislead the public about the goals of terrorism and its militancy
Considering that the U.S. is also governed by a president who has similar strategies to mislead and confound, there should be little doubt as to why conspiracy theories have grown exponentially during the five plus years Barack Obama has been in office.
While Americans may not “care” we can be certain that CAIR does “care” and their successes will be greater due to our lack of awareness and our ambivalence.
