“Violent Extremism” makes Islamic terrorism sound like a $99 bride gown sale stampede

WASHINGTON, February 19, 2015 – Once again President Obama could not bring himself to say “Islamic terrorism.” In his latest press conference Obama equated Islam with Christianity, Judaism, and actual religions of peace that do not wage war against the world.

The President continuously called Islamic terrorists “violent extremists” and that’s a problem. He did utter the word Islam. He just did not put terror and Islam in the same sentence.

Let’s get something straight: Islamic terrorists are extremely violent, but Obama’s refusal to admit who and what commits the terror brands it as no different than protesting activists and drunken sports fans burning their cities.

Obama carefully avoids blaming Islam for the terror it creates, saying, “We should not grant them [Islamic terrorists] the religious legitimacy they seek…No religion is responsible for violence and terrorism. People are responsible…They propagate the notion that America, and the West generally, is at war with Islam. That is how they recruit, that’s how they radicalize young people…It is a lie…We are not at war with Islam. We are at war with people who have perverted Islam…No religion is responsible for violence and terrorism. People are responsible. We have to make sure… that we do not stigmatize entire communities.”

Obama apparently doesn’t even know the Koran, despite his apparent love for the religion and the fact that his father was a Muslim.

ISIS is not “perverting” Islam, but is instead carrying out the word of the Koran. The Koran, Mohammad, and Islam command terror and war against the world: Quran 2:191-193, Quran 2:244, Quran 2:216, Quran 3:151, etc., making this a religion of war and terror.

America has been at war with Islam since the Barbary Pirates first attacked American ships over two centuries-ago. Jefferson was forced to wage war against Muslims when they attacked Christians to bring them to slavery .Islam stigmatized itself 1400 years-ago when the extremely violent movement began.

There is a difference between “violent extremists” and terrorists. Islamic terrorism is full-blown combat, it is war and it uses heavy artillery to destroy everyone and everything. The War on Terror is a fight against Muslim radicals who refuse to observe the rules of engagement, not civilized men who will soon sign a peace treaty with the U.S. and Europe.

Extremism carries a connotation of political and social activism. Yes, those people riot violently, but they are easily overpowered and subdued by local and state police forces and the National Guard.

War is not fought that way. War doesn’t just destroy infrastructure, it kills everyone without discretion.

Concerning suicide and religion, Islamic suicide and “jiketsu meirei” are not par with Jim Jones and David Koresh; those suicide pacts were limited only to their cult compounds. Neither group attacked any nation or the world.

Given what the world is up against with Islam, invoking “violent extremism” as the excuse to avoid saying Islamic terror is an insult. That phrase makes Islamic jihad no different than Occupy Wall Street, Ferguson, and New York City protests. Activists take to the streets, demonstrating anger that eventually dies down when Al Sharpton and the MSM are unable to attract more dissent for the cause.

Protesters seek political and social change by extreme measure, but never to the level of Islam, which is willing to destroy everything and everyone to bring about a Muslim world.

Islam is raging across the globe, extracting the most violent persecution and war upon humanity that only the most powerful military can crush by using extreme force, not delicate, appeasing rhetoric.
