SAN JOSE, November 7, 2016 — The integrity of America’s law enforcement agencies is under attack and has been compromised at the highest levels of government. We are witnessing the realities of deep corruption at the heart of the federal government, and in a political party that will stop at little to retain political power.
The 2016 election is reminiscent of a third world election sponsored by a ruling oligarchy. We’re witness to the behavior of a junta crushing potential criminal investigation into the behavior of the designated next-in-line. On the eve of election day, we suspect that the nation is no longer a republican democracy.
The candidate of the “deplorables,” the people who still care about the republic, faces one of the most formidable political machines in our history.
Americans may consider this year’s presidential election a fair and legitimate election in a stable democracy. But that presupposes a real contest; the entirety of the political establishment, who view most Americans as low information dupes or a “basket of deplorables,” are pulling out all the stops against Donald Trump.
Some in the intelligence and law enforcement communities are waging a battle to warn the American people that the core of the Democratic Party is corrupt, as is Hillary Clinton, it’s candidate.
Democratic leaders call themselves Americans, but they are working to put a woman who is likely to be indicted into the White House. They are doing it in conjunction with a Justice Department that has been politicized and undermined. And people wonder why Donald Trump thinks the election is rigged.
This is no fair contest. Trump is fighting an oligarchical organization that seized power years ago, and they will not easily relinquish that political power. But voters can still make a difference in 2016.
In 1776, brilliant and brave men and women stood up to the tyranny of a government that would not guarantee the fundamental rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to the American colonists. They had the audacity to proclaim and fight for these ideals:
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. …. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.
In addition to the three prominent rights listed by Thomas Jefferson was the right—even the duty—to throw off a government that becomes tyrannical. In 2016, it is increasingly clear that the federal government, and especially the autocratic, Democrat-controlled executive branch, is operating outside of the original mandate and just powers that were derived through the consent of the governed.
The history of the Democratic Party is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations made against good and innocent people, all having in direct object the establishment of a form of tyranny over these United States. On many occasions, laws established for the public good have been ignored by Democratic leaders. The Obama Administration has suppressed the law enforcement agencies that are sworn to protect and uphold the Constitution, and to protect the American citizens from enemies, foreign and domestic.
The White House has refused to follow the laws established in the Constitution.
The current administration has refused to follow the general tradition of the Magna Carta, that no one is above the Law, especially in the latest fiasco involving the favored candidate of the oligarchy.
This Democratic White House has failed to support the regional laws that would protect states from foreign trespass into their territories, and failed to enable law enforcement with the necessary support to protect the U.S. borders from foreign intrusions upon American soil.
Thus, the states remain “in the meantime exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.”
It is painful to observe the charade that America is still a republic. Anyone paying attention to the elections witnessed the genuine value placed on voting during the primaries of both parties. But now, on Election Eve, we see that the nation is no longer a republic, but an oligarchy determined to continue business as usual.
Americans who have the courage can still alter or abolish any form of government destructive of their rights and freedoms. They can still exercise their will through their votes on election day. It is not a matter of just casting their votes, but of exercising their will through active participation in the political process.
Voters must reaffirm their desire to elect a government that is still intent on guaranteeing the fundamental rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness—and the right to vote.Click here for reuse options!
