MISSOURI, September 10, 2017 — A 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll about truth and lies found that Americans rank former President Bill Clinton as the number one “most forgivable liar.”
He finished ahead of Lance Armstrong, Richard Nixon, and Bernie Madoff.
A Snopes.com item called “Obama’s 50 lies” lists just some of Former President Obama’s lies. He continues to lie, and no one seems able to stop him.
1. “Selma Got Me Born”: Obama was born1961. Selma was in 1965. Selma had nothing to do with the conception or birth of Barack Obama.
“Obama went on to tell his audience that the Kennedys, Jack and Bobby, decided to do an airlift. They would bring some young Africans over so that they could be educated and learn all about America. His grandfather heard that call and sent his son, Barrack Obama, Sr., to America.”
The future president was not conceived after November 1960. If his African grandfather heard words that “sent a shout across oceans” and sent his goat-herder son to America, it was not in response to Jack Kennedy or his brother Bobby, but to Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
2. His father was a goat herder: Obama says in his book, “Dreams of my Father”:
[My father] was as African, I would learn, a Kenyan of the Luo tribe, born on the shores of Lake Victoria in a place called Alego. The village was poor, but his father—my other grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama—had been a prominent farmer, an elder of the tribe, a medicine man with healing powers. My father grew up herding his father’s goats and attending the local school, set up by the British colonial administration, where he had shown great promise. He eventually won a scholarship to study in Nairobi; and then, on the eve of Kenyan independence, he had been selected by Kenyan leaders and American sponsors to attend a university in the United States.
3. His father was a proud freedom fighter: Again from “Dreams of my Father”:
[My father] was as African, I would learn, a Kenyan of the Luo tribe, born on the shores of Lake Victoria in a place called Alego. The village was poor, but his father — my other grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama — had been a prominent farmer, an elder of the tribe, a medicine man with healing powers.
4. He blames his early drug use on ethnic confusion: Obama wrote at length in his two books about his experiences growing up as the child of mixed-race parents and the issues that accompanied that status. He notes in “Dreams From My Father” that before entering politics he had used marijuana and cocaine. His drug use was “something that could push questions of who I was out of my mind, something that could flatten out the landscape of my heart, blur the edges of my memory.”
He said in a 2006 interview that his drug use was “reflective of the struggles and confusion of a teenage boy. Teenage boys are frequently confused.”
In an article published by Independent Review on November 18, 2013, David J Theroux writes:
“On the November 17th edition of ‘Meet the Press,’ NBC’s David Gregory admirably confronts Nancy Pelosi, having been a key architect and political organizer for Obamacare as House Majority Leader, regarding her June 10, 2009, MSNBC TV-interview statement that, ‘What we are talking about is affordable, quality, accessible healthcare for all Americans. It’s about choice. If you like what you have and you want to keep it, you have the choice to do that.'”
Pelosi is clearly stunned by Gregory’s use of her own comments against her. He presses, “Are you accountable for saying something that turned out not to be correct?” Pelosi tries to duck the issue by offering equivocation, lies, and other self-serving and clueless nonsense in response.
Obama is not alone in his dishonesty. The competition for the title of “Biggest Liar in American Politics” is fierce. Hillary Clinton. Enough said.
There are honest, hard working people in the government, but the wheat is overrun by tares.
Politicians have always lied. With the rise of the liberal medial, the lying has run rampant. Many seniors who grew up in the 30s and 40s really notice the change in our culture.
