WASHINGTON. According to the Wall Street Journal, the FBI has, in two short days, concluded its investigation into allegations that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh attempted to rape Professor Christine Blasey Ford 30 years ago while at some boozy high school bacchanalia. So what did the FBI’s X-Files agents Dana Scully and Fox Molder discover during their investigation of Ford’s out-of-this-world claim? Americans, Republican men in particular and all men in general eagerly await their findings.
Well, it’s time to lower expectations. In what has to be the silliest cover up since the latest Roswell incident, GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell doesn’t want us to know. But then again, neither does Dianne Feinstein.
Mitch is no snitch
McConnell actually did his Democratic colleagues a solid favor in putting the contents of the FBI report out-of-bounds. He told reporters that the final FBI report would “be made available to each senator and only senators will be allowed to look at it.” He obviously wants to spare Democrats the embarrassment of having to publicly confront the contents of a report that exonerates Kavanaugh and presents further evidence their goggle-eyed star witness is off her rocker.
But let’s hope Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans send copies of the report to Fox News anyway.
The tears of a clown
For weeks, we watched Senate Democrats and their media allies solemnly lecturing all Americans, and particularly Republican men, that the veracity of tearful, screaming females must never be questioned. Whether real or imagined, their pain renders them untouchable by logic, by reason, by the law, and by anything else.
Well, to hell with that.
Remember when weak-kneed Republican Sen. Jeff Flake was cornered inside a Capitol Hill elevator by two anti-Kavanaugh female activists? That stunt just happened to be broadcast live on fake-news CNN. The coverage by that fast-sinking network fortuitously managed to highlight the incident as one of the women, through streaming tears, yelled at the senatorial sap:
“I was sexually assaulted, and nobody believed me. I didn’t tell anyone, and you’re telling all women that they don’t matter… look at me when I’m talking to you! You are telling me that my assault doesn’t matter!”
Following the confrontation, the New Yorker magazine described Flake as “withdrawn… eyes wet, voice a little frayed, chin tucked down in the somber knot of his tie.”
Republican men: Like henpecked husbands?
That’s because Republican lawmakers, like stereotypical henpecked husbands, are effectively “shell-shocked,” beaten down by enduring years, even decades, of dealing with the unhinged likes of Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, and Elizabeth Warren. They’ve been rigorously trained not to confront the insane females of America’s political class, lest they be seen as waging that never-ending Republican“war on women.”
And so, they’ve become, as the late comedian Allan King said of some browbeaten husbands, “more like valets.”
A need for men of sterner stuff
Flake’s response should have been stern and unyielding. Saying something like the following.
“Get away from me, you psychopath. Security! Please escort this unhinged person from the Capitol building and to the nearest mental health facility for psychological evaluation.”
When an unhinged person says they are in pain, here’s an appropriate initial response.
“I’m sorry. There, there.”
Then step away slowly without taking your eyes off the potential assailant.
The response should never, ever be along the lines of this one.
“I’m so sorry. Would stopping the confirmation of a US Supreme Court nominee make you feel better?”
That’s just insane.
For CNN, an Inconvenient Truth
Not that CNN or the other purveyors of fake news have any interest in this, but the two young women confronting Jeff Flake in that elevator, Ana Maria Archila and Maria Gallagher, are, in fact, “activists.” They work at the Center for Popular Democracy. That cleverly named outfit is just one of the many left-wing pressure groups lavishly funded by billionaire leftist, globalist loon, George Soros.
Writing for the New York Post, John Fund stated that a source forwarded him an email from the Center for Popular Democracy, which reads in part:
“Last week, you saw protesters interrupting the Kavanaugh hearings, trying to slow it down and show the Judiciary Committee how much they/we care. Those protests were organized by the Women’s March and the Center for Popular Democracy and other groups.”
Jeff Flake, you can dry your tears and lift your chin. Silly man, you were punked by girls in pink pussyhats!
Time to man up
That elevator sob story, whether true or not, was the political equivalent of a jihadist’s exploding suicide vest. But in this case, the wearers were the only survivors.
This entire sordid escapade should serve as a signal flare to Republican men, and indeed, all men who believe in equal justice under law. It should mark the beginning of an all-out war on certain women. Namely, those radical Feminist 3.0 Stalinists whose real goal is to accelerate the American left’s 24/7 battle to divide and conquer American democracy, this time by gender.
Republican men in Washington, don’t be flakes. Man up, for God’s sake. Stop acting like pathetic slaves to the Cult of the Pink Hat. Instead, start calling out these pestering, hate-filled leftist nags on their anti-male Stalinist crap:
