Rep. Erica Thomas: Democrats setting race relations back fifty-years

Erica Thomas, Thomas, Eric Sparks, Sparks, Georgia,

WASHINGTON: Georgia lawmaker Erica Thomas and citizen Eric Sparks have gotten into a very public spat. The lawmaker has lied about their confrontation in an attempt to ingratiate herself into the AOC and Three, or The Squad. To become a part of the “go back to where you came from” news cycle. That’s something Sparks says he did not say, though Thomas loudly insists that he did. You can watch the video and decide one way or the other.

In the video, Sparks comes forward to identify himself and confirm a confrontation in a supermarket express lane. But he denies that he ever said, “go back.” If you can make it to the end of the video, Sparks calls Thomas out for making false statements in order to further her political career. Which sounds all too familiar.

Thomas, with her Gucci gold earrings, says that Sparks verbally assaulted her because he thought she had too many items in the 10-items-or-fewer express aisle of a Publix supermarket. She admits to having over the stated limit.

Thomas, a state representative from Austell in the Atlanta area, says she should be able to break the rules because she is pregnant. As any man will tell you, never assume a woman is pregnant. And pregnant is not a protected class.

In  a Facebook video, Thomas says:

“He said, ‘I don’t care. You’re a lazy son of a b—-. You need to get the f— out of here. Go back where you came from,'” “It hurt me so bad because everything in me just wanted to tell him who I am. But I couldn’t get anything out,” she said.

Sparks told the gathered media he did say “b—-” in his verbal altercation with Thomas, but denies he ever said “go back to where you came from.” Sparks notes that he is Cuban, votes Democratic and does not support President Donald Trump.

He said he likely voted for Thomas if he lives in her district.

“Her words stating on Twitter and on video stating that I told her she needs to go back to where she came from aren’t true,” Sparkes said, reported WXIA. “I am Cuban. I am not white. I am white, but I am Cuban.”
Confronting people in hateful ways is not appropriate. In any forum.

We are all too quick with strangers, friends or family to take the low road. But watch this. What is amazing is not only are these families physically fighting, but the first family is sharing a video of their behavior.

Warning: Course Language

A family party gone wrong:

A family in the happiest place on earth

So, have our family units degraded to such an extent that we can take less than appropriate behavior outside the house? Airing our dirty laundry, as Grandma used to say?

What about confronting people we do not know? How about the sense of righteous indignation that makes it okay for Mr. Sparks of the first video to confront Ms Thomas, who stepped into the express lane with more than her allotted items? Then what made Thomas think it was okay to attack Sparks, who is a constituent?

But here is the crux of the issue.

Why did Thomas think she could behave as she did, as a representative, in front of cameras?  Why is she starting fights with Mr. Sparks? The answer is simple: The fighting between our politicians. Both the President and the Democrats.

There is no right here, just wrong.

The President is also pugnacious

President Trump fights back. It’s easy to understand why. Even if we wish he could allow the slings and barbs to wash away without response sometimes. We have to offer some defense, however much we do not care for it. Since before he was elected, the Democrats have mercilessly attacked him, his cabinet, his base and most of America.

The left’s hysteria does not stop. And it often makes no sense.  At all.

The four-headed hydra known as The Squad – Ilhan Omar, Rashida Talib, Allyna Pressley, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – has accused Nancy Pelosi, Donald Trump and the roughly 51 percent of America who will be supporting Trump in the 2020 election of racism. The new “n” word is the “r” word.

Rashida Harbi Tlaib, U.S. Representative for Michigan’s 13th congressional

Before her election to Congress, Tlaib attended a Trump economic speech as part of a planned disruption, allegedly financed by Hungarian billionaire George Soros – either directly or through his groups.

After her election to Congress, her behavior is hardly fitting for an elected official. It goes beyond disagreement to being profane:

Ayanna Soyini Pressley, U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’s 7th congressional district.

Then we have Representative Pressley, who actually had the hubris, when speaking at the NetRoots Nation Conference on Saturday, to say that the only political opinions acceptable are those that she deems appropriate. And that those opinions must reflect the racial or sexual norm that she approves.

Her totalitarian remarks in full:

If you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice. If you’re worried about being marginalized and stereotyped, please don’t even show up because we need you to represent that voice.

Ilhan Abdullahi Omar, U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district

Ilhan Omar can only be characterized as anti-American, despite her status as a refugee who was not only saved from the refugee camps of Somalia, but was given the opportunities of America to attain not only a college education, but to be elected to the U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district.

And who denied that 9/11 was the result of terrorism.

But well before this, she spoke, and giggled, over American’s fears of terrorism:

But what Omar appears to represent is a block of Muslims in Minnesota who prefer Sharia law over American law. Is this the next civil war in America?

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, U.S. Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district

Then we have the Bronx Bartender, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez whose remarks are often loosely connected to the truth. AOC, as she is known, joins her Squadmates being in favor of open borders, unfettered immigration, dissolving our law enforcement agencies – in particular, border control – and the elimination of three-fourths of America’s population: anyone who identifies as white.

Ocasio-Cortez is going after more than white people; she and the other three freshmen are taking on the entire Democratic party, demanding that they follow her, as the new Boss of the party:

Ocasio-Cortez, in her quest to be relevant and promote her Green New Deal, which makes even Democrats recoil, has made many ridiculous claims. For instance, kitchen garbage disposals are an example of white privilege and environmentally bad. Calling it a terrifying monster in her kitchen.

The disposal was invented in 1926 and is a standard kitchen appliance.

“AOC finds the garbage disposal terrifying, What’s even more terrifying is the idea that she would be head of a national central plan that would rid us of internal combustion, reconstruct every building in America – even work toward the abolition of airplanes and the cow without a knowledge of how half the population disposes of its food refuse.” – Jeffrey Tucker

This video, by the American Institute for Economic Research, grinds out the truth about the disposal:

The fight for equality, for people to have an independent voice, regardless of their color, sexual preference, religion or their heritage, has been long fought.  And yes, we have a ways to go.  But we have gone quite far in the last 243 years. Today, popular shows feature a wide variety of Americans.  Designated Survivor, Supergirl and the Flash all featuring trans-gender and / or gay characters.  (‘Supergirl’ will feature TV’s first transgender superhero)

Unfortunately, we are proof of the old saying, one step forward, two steps back.
