Power to the people – family bonding with a twist

MILLINOCKET, Maine, January 18, 2014 – Somewhere near LAX in Inglewood, Ca, there’s a man and his daughter who now, hopefully, have a greater respect for electricity.

Fire officials there responded to an exploded transformer recently, and also found the middle-aged man and his teenaged daughter suffering from extensive electrical burns.

Seems the man was teaching his daughter the art of bypassing the electric meter to obtain free electricity. Needless to say it didn’t turn out as planned … they were both taken to the hospital, later transferred to a burn unit, and at last report were awaiting theft charges.
