WASHINGTON: Money is the key to politics and the key to money is knowledge. A roundabout syllogism but the fact is that several politicians claim authorship of the popular: “Money is the mother’s milk of politics.”
As Plato said:
“A library of wisdom is more precious than all wealth, and all things that are desirable cannot be compared to it.”
Once upon a time The East India Company was the ruler over eight kings, three queens, dictating to both parliament and the British crown. Ultimately this powerful company was the cause of the so-called “shot heard ‘round the world.”
Today, Google is the tech company of tech companies, according to Terry Turchie, former FBI Deputy Assistant Director. They are a modern day East India Company.
During the Democrats recent jaunt to Puerto Rico, our representatives were hitting the beach with lobbyists seeking additional federal funding for the impoverished island. Among those lobbyists organizations like Facebook, Comcast, Amazon, Microsoft, Intel, Verizon. (Puerto Rico Is in Crisis. Tech Companies Are Responding With Money and Repair Teams). And while these companies provided money and services to the island, it is doubtful this trip was quite as altruistic as past efforts.
Each of these companies is a media company. They each control the media you see in one way or another. They also, through their donations, control the Democrat party. They want a piece of Nancy Pelosi’s Southern border Technology Wall.
Really, weren’t you wondering how these brilliant Democrats who show their total technical inadequacy in every Congressional Hearing all of a sudden began talking about sensors and drones? The answer is simple. Their Silicon Valley political donors don’t want cement or steel. They want technology. Artificial intelligence to augmented reality.
#1 Tech Democrat Tech Partner – Google
Google controls virtually all information online. With information there is knowledge. Where you shop, work, what your political ideology is. And that information is worth money. A lot of money. (How Silicon Valley is overhauling the Democratic Party)
Owning a party that controls half of the electorate also defines corporate and commercial power unimagined.
Fox’s Tucker Carlson vs. Google and Big Tech
All seeking to destroy what’s left of the real news media. However, Tucker Carlson, in my opinion, is the finest town crier opposing this monster company. Not because he opposes information and knowledge, but because he seems to oppose the vice-like grip on those who have allowed themselves to live politically at the pleasure of technocrats.
Carlson’s opinion is that we have been conned over the past twenty years into this web (pun intended) of the technocrats’ kingdom where Google wears the crown.
On his Fox program the other night a guest spokesman, Former FBI Assistant Director Terry Turchie spoke on the subject of the tech companies and their virtual ownership of the Democrat party. Turchie posits the question of why do Democrats fight the wall, wanting a technical wall solution.
Turchie says Pelosi’s “tech wall” has everything to do with Silicon Valley friends who want the government contracts.
Big Technology is the Democrats new ‘mother’s milk’
Certainly, at the head of this list of companies would be Google. Turchie essentially says that the trail to California has been blazed by the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and most any other Democrats seeking big technologies “mother’s milk.”
Democrats no longer seek out their old haunts in the flyover and eastern seaboard states. The states that unions once ruled. Why? Those once well-heeled spots no longer have money. Big Tech is in California and their gold is in a bank in Beverly Hills and which now is where Democrats bow to a new master.
Online or obsolete
It is possible for me to print this paper and send it to a newspaper. Or send it via the USPS to whatever number of people I could afford (it would be a short list).
However, the only real chance to have it read in today’s world of big tech is to put it out online. Like here at CommDigiNews.
It is also possible for Google to block it in some fashion of big tech censorship which I have only moderate (at best) knowledge of. That is, again, power.
But the last is best.
According to Turchie, Nancy Pelosi would give up five billion for a wall in a click of her choppers if Trump would agree to an electronic wall built by her California technocrats. Using their recently invited illegal and cheap immigrant labor.
Meanwhile, Republicans, less interested in illegal immigrants and walls, are preoccupied with wars and empire building and such.
All such things being blessed by some newly computerized weaponry or online wizardry for the technocrats to build.
And they, as do the Democrats, praise our new world of leisure where no one visits shops or stores or even each other. They text or email or send drones to watch while ordering food, clothing and even shelter on Amazon.
And now, like The East India company before, kings and queens and all their subjects bow to Google and Silicon Valley’s Big Tech.
“Someday, in the distant future, our grandchildren’s grandchildren will develop a new equivalent of our classrooms. They will spend many hours in front of boxes with fires glowing within. May they have the wisdom to know the difference between light and knowledge.” – Plato (again)
Fifty years from now, Google et al will make the East India Company look like a doormat artifact.
