MS-13 thrives on Trump Derangement Syndrome

WASHINGTON, August 2, 2017 — “They kidnap. They extort. They rape and they rob. They stomp on their victims. They beat them with clubs, they slash them with machetes, and they stab them with knives. They have transformed peaceful parks and beautiful quiet neighborhoods into bloodstained killing fields. They’re animals.”

President Donald Trump speaking in Long Island.

President Donald Trump was speaking of the ruthless gang MS-13 during a rally in Long Island, where the gang “has been blamed for the deaths of nearly a dozen young people in blue-collar Brentwood and Central Islip,” according to the Associated Press.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently noted that former President Obama’s policy to resettle under-aged illegal aliens through his Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) act has allowed MS-13 to expand its ranks in the United States.

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announces the Trump administration’s plan to wage war on the gang known as MS-13.

Ana Arana at Foreign Policy magazine writes that back in El Salvador, these “gangs regularly battle each other and the police for control of working-class neighborhoods and even entire cities. Fifteen municipalities in El Salvador are believed to be effectively ruled by the maras [gangs].”

A Justice Department fact sheet released last April says MS-13’s army of thugs number “more than 10,000 in the United States. They regularly conduct gang activities in at least forty states and the District of Columbia … Gang members actively recruit members, including juveniles, from communities with a large number of immigrants from El Salvador.”

When President Obama issued executive orders halting the deportation of under-age illegal aliens, unaccompanied minors flooded over our southern border. “Obama administration officials have said the increase in unaccompanied youth at the border could be due to … the spread of rumors that children who arrive at the border without parents won’t be deported,” said the Pew Research Center in June of 2014.

Shawn Moran, speaking for the National Border Patrol Council, told Fox News MS-13 was using Red Cross phone banks at refugee centers to “recruit, enlist and pressure” illegal, under-age Latin American arrivals to join their ranks.

The majority of Democrats and Republicans cannot deny their complicity in the rise of MS-13 in America. In the 60s, Democrats lowered immigration standards for eligible entrants, which once favored skilled workers and those with family members living in America, who would bear any unforseen financial hardship and not U.S. taxpayers.

And Republicans like Sen. John McCain, a member of the U.S. Senate’s so-called “gang of eight,” sought to “reform” U.S. immigration policies that no member of either party sought to enforce, and, instead create a fast-track to U.S. citizenship for those who cut ahead in the immigration line, disproving the old adage that “crime does not pay.”

America’s new president is alone in his wish to secure America’s southern border. He must sign executive orders to prevent Islamic and Latin American terror organizations from entering the country.

This has only served to inflame the media’s Trump Derangement Syndrome.

During the presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton made a remarkable claim regarding Trump’s verbal assaults on Islamic terror. “We know that a lot of the rhetoric we’ve heard from Donald Trump has been seized on by terrorists,” said Clinton, “in particular ISIS, because they are looking to make this into a war against Islam rather than a war against jihadists.”

Trump leaned into Clinton’s softball pitch and hit an out-of-the-park homerun:

“Hillary Clinton’s weakness while she was secretary of state has emboldened terrorists all over the world to attack the U.S., even on our own soil. They are hoping and praying that Hillary Clinton becomes president so that they can continue their savagery and murder.”

Recently Trump encapsulated his philosophy on U.S. border security during a speech in Youngstown, Ohio:

“Never again will America surrender the security of our people, the safety of our communities or the sovereignty of our nation. We are cracking down hard on the foreign criminal gangs that have brought illegal drugs, violence, horrible bloodshed to peaceful neighborhoods all across our country. We are throwing MS-13 the hell out of here so fast … We are liberating our towns and we’re liberating our cities. Can you believe we have to do that?”

According to CNN, “increasing immigration enforcement action makes undocumented immigrants more fearful of arrest and deportation, which only helps MS-13.”

Lax enforcement of U.S. immigration laws allowed MS-13 to set up shop in the U.S., sell drugs, commit heinous murders and flourish, yet those in the media suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome believe the best way to combat this murderous evil is to continue doing what Obama and Congress, Republicans and Democrats, did best: look the other way.
