Illegal voter, Kanjana Casetta, loses voter registration card

Kanjana Casetta is a permanent legal resident alien but she has voted at least eight times since 2008 in elections where she is a registered voter in Fond Du Lac County.

WASHINGTON, June 27, 2017 – Kanjana Casetta, who was featured in an October 2016 CDN expose, has lost her voter registration card. Casetta has voted illegally at least eight times.

Casetta was the subject initially of an investigation by the Government Accountability Board which referred the matter to authorities:

“The Government Accountability Board (GAB) has received information about a voter, Kanjana Casetta, who resides in the City of Fond Du Lac and does not appear to be a US Citizen but appears to have voted 8 times since 2008.”

Kanjana Casetta is a permanent legal resident alien but she has voted at least eight times since 2008 in elections where she is a registered voter in Fond Du Lac County.

The Deputy District Attorney in Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin, Dennis Krueger, who was in charge of the case, decided against filing charges because Cassetta claimed to be a battered woman who was forced to vote by her ex-husband, Barry Cassetta.

A subsequent investigation by this writer found that rather than being a battered woman, there were numerous incidents in which she was the physical aggressor. Krueger acknowledged to CDN that he didn’t interview either Barry or Kanjana Casetta.

Now, Kanjana Casetta has had her voter registration suspended.

In February, Kanjana Casetta attempted to get a restraining order against Barry Casetta, arguing that he threatened and intimidated her, but the judge, Robert Wirtz, dismissed the order, stating that she provided no evidence she was ever abused.

“I’m dismissing this injunction because I don’t think it has been proven or shown,” Wirtz stated in his decision, “There is insufficient evidence of harassment or there is behavior that’s been engaged in; the purpose of which is to harass you; to engage in acts which serve no legitimate purpose, and a continual repetitive pattern of. Further, there hasn’t been a showing of striking, shoving, kicking. There hasn’t been an act of child abuse that’s been alleged, nor stalking to my review of the evidence.”

The recent decisions by the judge and to remove her voter registration change nothing for Krueger, because he needs new evidence from law enforcement, he said to CDN in an email:

“I am not law enforcement. I review reports from law enforcement. Mr. Casetta was referred to the original investigative agency if he has additional information he wishes a prosecutor to consider. Ordinarily there is a law enforcement investigation because a lawyer could become a witness in having direct contact with a citizen victim or witness. I rarely, if ever interview witnesses or conduct investigations without law enforcement present. I use law enforcement for those purposes.”

Barry Casetta said his fight to clear his name continues:

“Three years of false accusations, three years of hell. On February 20th, 2017 a court cleared me of all accusations of abuse. In fact, my abuser admitted to stabbing me, breaking my arm and hitting my son,” Casetta said, “Each time I was hit I was looking for help. I was hit and my children were abused before and AFTER Mr. Dennis Krueger chose to turn his head away from us.”

“He is abusive,” Kanjana Casetta said in an interview, referring to her ex-husband.

When this reporter noted that Judge Wirtz found no abuse. “He is only one judge,” she said further, referring to his decision.
