WASHINGTON. As a public service to America’s voters, CDN offers this brief, updated guide to key terms all voters should understand before heading to the polls for Election 2018. And remember North Dakotans, that’s tomorrow, November 6, 2018. And no, if you vote, you won’t lose your gun privileges. Unless, perhaps, you vote for your incumbent, liberal, anti-Kavanaugh Senator.
Use today’s column is meant as a pre-voting booth primer. Or, even if you already voted early, familiarize yourself with these key terms. That way, if you discover you made a terrible mistake this time around, you can fix that problem in 2020.
We’re providing this list of key terms for one simple reason: In today’s political climate, primarily left-wing politicians and media figures have become adept at twisting the definitions of once commonly understood terms to confuse or mislead the general American electorate. We’re here to help by explaining how a variety of commonly used terms have been re-defined to conceal hidden meanings. We can’t possibly include all terms here that are currently in use, as these are changing constantly. But what appears below covers most of what’s being talked about right now.
Our helpful “Devil’s Dictionary” lists key terms for Election 2018 in alphabetical order.
Key terms voters in Election 2018 need to understand
Antifa: “Anti-Fascist.” Another far-left oxymoron purportedly defining members of a violent, anti-American “anarchist” movement that opposes the “fascism” allegedly espoused by conservatives and / or Republicans. In fact, members of Antifa are themselves hard-left fascists – not anti-fascist anarchists. Created and funded by Soros organizations, members of this organization are best understood as violent Stalinist thugs whose mission is to intimidate and injure – and perhaps kill – those who resist the organized left.
Astro-turfing: The exclusively far-left practice of organizing practice fake or paid-for fake demonstrations. Always anti-Republican, they are always presented by the media as “grass roots” uprising. But, given their fake “grass roots” origins, they have been aptly labeled as “Astro-turfing” after one of the earliest brands of artificial turf.
Atheism: The current, illegally established (and thus Unconstitutional) state religion of the United States. As the official U.S. state religion, it is dedicated to stamping out all other legitimate religions save for radical Islam, which it fears. All Democrats directly or indirectly support or adhere to this religion. American voters –particularly religious American voters – must understand this when they go to the polls.
C – D
Climate change: Global warming, expressed in more antiseptic terminology. Weak but still alive for Election 2018.
Democratic-Socialists: Communists with Stalinist tendencies. An oxymoronic party label very much in fashion for Election 2018. Turning Marxism upside-down, they are generally wealthy elitists or their appallingly ignorant spawn. (See George Soros.) Notably, college-duped millennial voters love them. They generally espouse Globalism, which is in reality the coming New Feudalism. An additional irony: While they denounce those they don’t like as fascists, it is they who are the true fascists. Everything they unjustly accuse others of believing or doing is, in fact, precisely what they themselves believe or do. They currently control the minds of all “Democrats.” For that reason, until further notice, any vote for a “Democrat” must be understood as a vote for Democratic-Socialists, i.e., Communists and Globalists.
Democrat Party: A now standard term among most conservative voters, this is the currently accepted name for what used to be called the “Democratic Party.” Conservatives and most Libertarians regard “democratic” as an adjective that once accurately described that political party but no longer does. Hence, the current preferred nomenclature.
Demonstrations: Riots meant to silence free speech.
Demonstrators: Paid rioters hired by wealthy leftists.
Denialists: Those who correctly recognize “climate science” as fake science whose fake numbers and arguments have been politicized to facilitate massive income transfers from modern Western societies.
Diversity: No white people allowed. In particular, not white male. White people are not diverse. A key term for dividing America.
Fake News: Hotly disputed by the “journalists” who put it out, this has become one of those viral, Trumpian key terms. It accurately describes the self-serving, often patently false or intentionally misleading daily stories or memes put out by at least 95% of once-respectable news organizations. Almost uniformly pro-left and Marxist in orientation, Fake News consists of an acceptable body of lies. The goal: to promote the latest Democrat Party Line, attack, demean and smear Conservatives, Libertarians and Republicans, and promote a one-party socialist state.
Fascists (fake definition): Anyone not supporting leftist Democrats, causes or institutions.
Fascists (real definition): Democrats, radical Democrats paid professional communists and other allied Marxists seeking one-party rule and the complete silencing of all opposing views.
George Soros: The Osama bin Laden of the West. Rich beyond avarice, this monomaniacal hard-leftist supports a world without countries or borders, the better to support a New Marxist-style Feudalism ruled by a cadre of wealthy, know-it-all elites. Like Soros. Think Napoleon. Or Genghis Khan.
Globalism: One of the key terms describing the coming New Feudalism. Mega-wealthy globalists continue to prepare the ground for this dismal futureworld by paying propagandists and agitators to promote it. Ironically, these globalists earned most of their money via capitalism. Now, by tricking countries into destroying themselves, currently via “open borders,” they can impose poverty and forced servitude on everyone else, thus keeping all the wealth for themselves. This odious New Feudalism seeks to eliminate the inconvenient middle class, leaving only the rich and the easily controlled poor. Current models: Venezuela, Cuba, and many victim countries. A key, but hidden issue for Election 2018, and largely one element behind the worldwide promotion of illegal immigration.
Gun Control: A leftist mantra and crusade to disarm the American populace, thus depriving the average citizen of his or her constitutional right to protect freedom and property in the event that the Federal government oversteps its still clearly defined constitutional limits. Disarming the populace is a key element in America’s “fundamental transformation” into a one-party socialist state. Or worse.
H – J
Hate speech: Anything anyone that’s not a Democrat says or writes. Anything anyone expresses that a leftist does not like.
Identity politics: Generally, anti-white racism whipped up by Marxist and “Democratic-Socialist” agitators to rejuvenate the concept of “class struggle” which otherwise would not exist in the United States today. Like “class struggle,” this most recent flavor of divide-and-conquer politics and terminology can succeed by toppling a country’s government and way of life without military action. Antonio Gramsci and Saul Alinsky understood this well.
Illegal aliens: A currently forbidden term. (See Undocumented immigrants.)
Journalists: Effectively describes a once-honorable profession that has essentially gone extinct. In general, highly paid, physically attractive, intellectually lazy pro-Democrat hacks, propagandists and provocateurs. In steady decline since the late 1960s, “journalism” and “journalists” have become just another appendage of the entertainment industry. Most “journalists” actually make a living by working as paid entertainers, or – in the words of Glenn Reynolds – as “Democratic operatives with bylines.” Their key function for Election 2018 is to defeat and thwart all things Trump.
Lean: A highly-deceptive polling term. In electoral politics, a political seat that’s up for grabs but not a cinch for either party “leans.” It’s not a sure thing, but there’s some likelyhood of an outcome that favors one party or another. However, largely pro-Democrat pollsters in recent years busy themselves by twisting terminology in their questions, thus gaming each poll to tilt left. Many seats pollsters deem as “leaning” Republican remain firmly Republican. However, the media and pollsters label many seats that “lean” Democrat as firmly Democrat. The idea is to create the impression that more Republican seats are at risk than Democrat seats. Leftist pollsters construct such polls in a way that discourages Republican voter turnout. By presenting a constant litany of depressing news for the GOP in poll after poll, clever pollsters can succeed in throwing close contests to the Democrats. (See also toss-up.)
M – P
Moderate: Currently, anyone whose politics lean left of center. Its previous usage defined a politician or a voter whose general political positions tacked cleanly between a well-defined left and a well-defined right. Democrats, however, have surreptitiously moved that centerpoint so far to the left that they’d likely regard an old fashioned moderate or centrist as a “Nazi.” Always be careful when you interpret cleverly redefined key terms like this one.
Offense: A fake negative reaction or emotion conjured up to give leftists and Democrats free reign to intimidate, humiliate and / or silence any speaker, individual or organization whose right to free speech / expression they wish to silence.
Protests: Media-attracting stunts generally funded and staged by leftists and led by paid professional leftists. Intended to inhibit free speech, paid professionals funded by leftist organizations generally organize and lead such “protests.”
Protestors: (See Demonstrators.)
R – U
Reporters: (See Journalists.)
Toss-up: If current poll results lean Republican, an electoral contest is a “toss-up.” If current results lean Democrat, the contest “leans Democratic” or, more often, is listed as “firmly Democratic.” (See also lean.)
Undocumented immigrants: Illegal Aliens is the correct legal term according to current American law and terminology. “Undocumented immigrants” implies that such illegals are already on the path to citizenship. Except that tney screwed up their paperwork. As such, it is a bogus, highly misleading and dangerous term meant to defy American laws and borders. But hypocritical Democrats embrace this destructive notion as one way to win Election 2018.
V – W
Venezuela: The ultimate and 100% predictable endgame for all Marxist utopian schemes. This once wealthy, oil-rich country is systematically starving its people. Cuba’s secret police effectively run this one-party dictatorship now, along with locally recruited Marxist thugs. Look at history. Without exception, all “socialist” countries ultimately head down this depressing path. No exceptions. But ignorant, college “educated” millennials long to take this path through Election 2018 without knowing where it really leads.
Voter ID: Like an average driver’s license with a photo ID, Voter ID cards serve to check that each voter is the individual he or she claims to be. Voter ID cards cut down on voter fraud. Democrats and racialists hate Voter ID, however, because such IDs make it far more difficult for them to create votes and throw elections. They’ve customarily done this for decades in primarily urban precincts. It works. So why eliminate it? Voter ID is “controversial” and “racist” only to those who wish to continue manufacturing votes and throwing elections.
White privilege: A vicious myth invented to divide America still further. “White privilege” is something white people currently do not have and never did have, unless they were rich coastals with family money. Even so, all white individuals (except for rich white coastals) must still check their non-existent privilege at the door. This term has also provided an opening for actively descriminating against the left’s currently most hated “class,” the white male. Irony Alert: Most of those enforcing this, one of the left’s truly key terms, are rich, white, privileged elite males. Inconsistency lies at the very heart of cultural Marxism.
Remember. Words today mean whatever the Democrat Party Elites say they mean. Be sure you understand this point. Key terms you thought you understood may very well have been undermined by relentlessly clever leftis wordsmiths. They might now mean something else. Don’t be deceived when voting in Election 2018!
