WASHINGTON: Over the past year, we’ve discovered there’s been a lot of “collusion” going on. But it is not from inside the Trump Campaign. It is tarmac meeting collusion between former A.G. Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton over the FBI investigation into wife Hillary’s illegal handling of government emails. The campaign collusion between Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and opposition-research firm Fusion GPS. And between the Democratic National Committee and Fusion GPS.
Collusion between Fusion GPS and British spy Christopher Steele. Then between Christopher Steele and his anti-Trump dossier “sources” in Vladimir Putin’s Kremlin. The deep state collusion between the FBI and Christopher Steele over said dossier.
And the collusion between Christopher Steele, Sen. John McCain and the FBI over the same dossier.
Then there is the collusion between the Obama administration and the secret FISA court in using the Steele dossier as a pretext to launch a secret “counterintelligence operation” against the opposition party’s presidential campaign. The collusion between a spy planted inside the Trump campaign and his FBI handlers. ‘
And, finally, collusion between leaking U.S. Intelligence sources, leaking FBI sources and The New York Times.
The collusion that ain’t
All that collusion was supposed to expose the collusion between President Donald J. Trump and his supposed Russians handlers. You know, the guys the Justice Department said “sowed discord” among us while also denying the presidency to Hillary Clinton.
And yet, the only real discord we’ve seen is from the dower and angry Hillary Clinton, aimed at the nation which disabused her of that deep and unwarranted sense of entitlement.
Worse still, no Trump-Russia collusion has been found. But we’ve learned more than we care to about the sad and aging stripper, Stormy Daniels.
Pay no attention to your lying eyes
Meanwhile, the nation is enjoying significant upswings in job creation. Plus extra cash in their wallets thanks to the Republican tax cut. A windfall Democrats say they’ll take back if they regain control of Congress in 2018 under the campaign slogan, “MS-13 are people too.”
He’s no spy, he’s just a clandestine, intelligence-gathering informant
Getting back to all the collusion, The New York Times downplayed the significance of Obama’s Justice Department planting a spy inside the Trump campaign, insisting in a headline, “FBI Used Informant to Investigate Russia Ties to Campaign, Not to Spy, as Trump Claims”:
“Details about the informant’s relationship with the FBI remain scant. It is not clear how long the relationship existed and whether the FBI paid the source or assigned the person to other cases.”
It’s at this point you should reach for a box of tissues or handkerchief because what follows is sure to pull at your heartstrings:
“Informants take great risks when working for intelligence services, Christopher A. Wray, the FBI director, testified before Congress on Wednesday. Their identities must not be exposed, he said, hinting at congressional efforts to obtain the name of the source. ‘The day that we can’t protect human sources is the day the American people start becoming less safe.’”
Deep State shields liberal collusion and the spy inside the Trump Campaign
The Times and the FBI can’t have it both ways. They can’t downplay this FBI spy as a benign “informant” while at the same time saying unmasking this intrepid Jason Bourne threatens his and all our lives. Nonetheless, Roger Stone has released Stefan Halper’s name and the consensus in much of media is that he is, in fact, the FBI spy inside the Trump Campaign.
