WASHINGTON. Friday, the Office of Special Counsel submitted a document to the Department of Justice containing the findings of Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia collusion investigation. The apparent result? An NBC News headline said it all.
“You may be disappointed by the Mueller report.”
By “you,” NBC means Democrats and members of the so-called mainstream media. Like the distraught, weeping Rachel Maddow of MSNBC. Not you, the viewer.
You see, Justice Department sources told the scribblers and talking heads of fake news that Mueller will not hand down any more indictments. Of Trump, his relatives, or anyone else.
Mueller’s Trump-Russia collusion investigation: 2-year witch hunt finds no Russians in Trump’s closet
For the past two years, Mueller’s Trump Russia collusion investigation has racked up convictions for tax evasion, bank fraud, and lying to the FBI. The result?
No one was indicted for colluding with Russia. And that includes Carter Page.
Relying on a British spy’s spy fiction
Do you remember Carter Page? He was one of the Trump campaign’s foreign policy advisors. According to Christopher Steele’s infamous anti-Trump dossier, an
“… ethnic Russian close associate of Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump, admitted that there was a well-developed conspiracy of co-operation between them and the Russian leadership. This was managed on the TRUMP side by the Republican candidate’s campaign manager, Paul MANAFORT, who was using foreign policy advisor, Carter PAGE, and others as intermediaries…”
So, rather comically, Steele felt compelled to gild the lily.
“… The two sides [the Trump campaign and Russia] had a mutual interest in defeating Democratic presidential candidate Hillary CLINTON, whom [Russian] President [Vladimir] PUTIN apparently both hated and feared.”
But we now know the Clinton presidential campaign, along with the DNC, paid smear machine Fusion GPS $12.2 million for the Steele dossier. So, it’s only natural the novelette’s author would cast his financial benefactor, Hillary Clinton, as the heroin of his farfetched, 35-page spy thriller. The one where the bloodthirsty Vladimir Putin quakes in his boots at the mere thought of a feeble septuagenarian from Chappaqua, New York. The one who requires burly aides to carry her decaying carcass up and down even modest porch steps.
Manafort, of course, was convicted for various crimes. But none were committed while he was working for the Trump campaign or had anything at all to do with Russian collusion.
No matter. The Trump-Russia collusion battlefield was being prepared.
Scapegoats Carter Page and George Papadopoulos
Carter Page, a named intermediary in the so-called Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy to thwart American Democracy, has since slipped into obscurity. You may recall that the Obama administration’s FISA warrant application to spy on the Trump associate, boldly stated the following.
“The FBI believes that Page has been collaborating and conspiring with the Russian government.”
So, why didn’t Mueller indict Carter Page for the real crime of espionage?
After all, George Papadopoulos, another Trump campaign foreign policy advisor, was convicted for lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian intermediaries during the 2016 presidential campaign. But it seems those contacts were not really as treasonous as the media first proclaimed.
That’s because Papadopoulos served a total of only 14 days behind bars. And not for treason.
Unhinged John Brennan makes a prediction
Last week, former CIA director John Brennan appeared on MSNBC and predicted Mueller would probably indict members of the Trump family. He then fabricated a “likely” outcome, imagining the final report to be
“… the final act of Mueller’s investigation because Bob Mueller and his team knows if he were to do something, indicting a Trump family member or if he were to go forward with indictments on criminal conspiracy involving US persons… that would basically be the death knell of the special counsel’s office because I don’t believe Donald Trump would allow Bob Mueller to continue in the aftermath of those types of actions.”
Forgetting Brennan’s Trump Derangement-inspired rant for a moment, we must note the lack of mystery as to how the US came under attack on 9/11, given that unhinged hacks like Brennan worked in Middle-Eastern intelligence for America’s secret intelligence services at the time. Brennan later headed up the CIA itself under the Obama administration.
Additionally, let’s not forget that the FBI that spied on innocent Republican campaign workers on behalf of a corrupt Obama administration. They did so after previously failing to conduct follow-up investigations of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsamaev. You know, the jihadist Boston Marathon bombers that were supposedly on “the FBI’s radar.” We all know how that worked out. Apparently, DOJ directed more attention toward building the Trump-Russia collusion narrative intended to serve as the DOJ co-conspirators’ “insurance policy” against a Trump presidency.
The FISA Court
Finally, let’s also duly note the actions of the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. Ultimately, that court enabled the Trump-Russia collusion fable to get off the ground. They signed off on dubious warrants allowing a counter-intelligence operations aimed against a major political party’s presidential candidate. What emerged as Mueller’s Trump-Russia collusion investigation effectively commenced even before Mueller’s appointment to head that investigation.
The unindicted co-conspirators
In the end, we very likely won’t see the real criminals appear in Mueller’s Trump-Russia collusion report. Especially the gang’s ringleaders. Those most responsible for weaponizing the Federal government on behalf of their political/criminal party.
The Democrats, the DNC and the unindicted, Russian hoax co-conspirators, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.
