Former AG Eric Holder tells Dems to stop badmouthing Obama’s legacy

WASHINGTON: After listening to the latest Democratic debates, during which candidates vigorously trashed some of the policies of America’s previous president, Barack Hussein Obama, Eric Holder is upset. In badmouthing Obama’s legacy, the circus troupe of Democrats now running for president proved its members suffer from severe political forgetfulness.

According to WebMD:

“Dissociative amnesia occurs when a person blocks out certain information, usually associated with a stressful or traumatic event, leaving him or her unable to remember important personal information.”

And talk about forgetfulness.

In this week’s Democratic presidential debate sweepstakes, candidate after candidate predictably trashed the legacy of a contemporary U.S. president. No, astonishingly it wasn’t Donald John Trump. It was, wait for it, Barack Obama. This surprise dissing of Obama’s legacy did not escape the notice of his original Attorney General, the still-reprehensible Eric Holder.

The current, forgetful field of Democratic presidential hopefuls wishes to break all association with Obama’s legacy. And that includes Obama’s VP, current Democratic front-runner Joe Biden. And by extension, his former boss, President Obama as well.

Obama’s self-described “wingman,” former AG Holder, sounded the alarm in a tweet.

“To my fellow Democrats. Be wary of attacking the Obama record. Build on it. Expand it. But there is little to be gained – for you or the party – by attacking a very successful and still popular Democratic President.”

Holder didn’t explain which part of Obama’s legacy Democrats should expand. But you may recall that part of that legacy includes the sale of assault weapons to Mexico’s Sinaloa drug cartel. Code-named “Fast and Furious” after the action movie franchise, that transaction morphed into a despicable, failed shell game with which then-AG Holder was intimately involved.

So how’d that game turn out?

US Border Agent Brian Terry and thousands of innocent Mexican citizens died as a result.

Congress found Holder in contempt of that body for his refusal to surrender Justice Department documents detailing the Obama administration’s gunrunning operation. Predictably, Obama’s radical Democrat AG faced zero consequences for ignoring congressional requests and a subpoena.

For his part, Veep Joe Biden joined Holder in defending that legacy.

“I’m proud of the job he [Obama] did. I don’t think there’s anything he has to apologize for and… it kind of surprised me the degree of the criticism.”

According to a 2012 report by the Office of Inspector General, assault weapons weren’t the only arms Holder and the government transferred to the Sinaloa cartel. One gunrunning suspect operating under the auspices of the Obama administration was “suspected of transporting grenade components into Mexico, converting them into live grenades, and then supplying them to drug cartels.”

In a report issued the previous year by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, then-Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., stated:

“The Mexican government reported that more than 34,000 lives have been lost in the 4 ½ years, and scores of others remain missing. Last year [2010], 111 US citizens were killed in Mexico, which has been the most violent year in the drug war’s history, according to the US State Department.”

Just another part of Obama’s legacy. Nothing to see here, folks, move along.

Beating Joe Biden

Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Joe BidenDuring the debates and even off-camera, hard-left Democrat presidential hopefuls attacked Biden over what they claim is his association with racist government policies. That includes those supposedly aimed at people of color in the application of drug laws and criminal sentencing.

But these same Democrats are conspicuously silent concerning Biden’s association with the deadly legacy of Obama and his wingman, Eric Holder.

President Trump’s transparency compared to Obama’s opaqueness

We already know a lot about the underground activities of the lawless Obama administration. So it should send a chill up the spines of all Americans that Holder wants Biden’s Democratic rivals to take Obama’s legacy and “build on it. Expand it.”

Say, whoever saw that one coming?

Forgotten by Americans”: The carnage resulting from “Fast and Furious”

The deaths of tens of thousands of innocent human beings resulted from Operation Fast and Furious. These deaths should remind gullible millennials of the consequences associated with big government – democratic or authoritarian. That operation proved anything but fast. But the murderous “furious” component lives on.

Americans should remember this. Namely, the popularity of the two-term president Holder so admires continues to shield him from the demands of victims’ families for justice. Notably, these demands still remain unanswered nearly a decade after the alleged  “crimes” occurred.

Holocaust survivor and Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel once saying that if Jews

“overreact to certain events, it is that we have chosen to remember the time when Jews seem to have been forgotten by all men.”

At times, American democracy also, “blocks out certain information, usually associated with a stressful or traumatic event.” That includes information like the complicity of Obama and Holder in the tragic consequences of their ill-fated “Fast and Furious” gun-running operation.

Families of Operation Fast and Furious victims still wait — and long for — Americans to remember their murdered dead. And they wait… and wait.
