LOS ANGELES: Fifty years ago today, Democrat Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy got drunk (allegedly) and drove over a bridge (really).  Kennedy left his female passenger Mary Jo Kopechne to die. He never answered for leaving Kopechne to die.

Fifty years ago today began the tradition of the liberal media covering up everything bad that liberal Democrats did.

Thus allowing liberals to become more emboldened. Benghazi and “Fast and Furious” just two of many examples of getting innocent people killed, then covering it up.

Since leftists found common ground with Islamists in their hatred of western culture, both groups of people frequently receive lifetime immunity from consequences. Hating Republicans, conservatives and Jews is all that is required to receive this immunity.

Chappaquiddick became chap acquitted.

On this day, fifty years ago, liberal Democrats were given a free pass to commit every imaginable crime against humanity.

In Hollywood, rape and drug use went on unabated for decades. Attorney General Eric Holder’s participation in illegal gunrunning is still unpublished (Full Coverage: ATF’s Fast and Furious scandal). Making excuses for Islamists committing murder on American soil is now the norm. The Fort Hood shooting became “workplace violence.” (Jihad in the workplace: Looking back on the Fort Hood Shooting

Every crime is downplayed as long as a liberal Democrat or an Islamist does it.

Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder and Ilhan Omar are three of the man beneficiaries of the freedom to be above the law.

Congresswoman Omar repeatedly spews Jew-hating remarks. The liberal media allows her to play the victim, and she only grows bolder.

At a rally for President Trump in North Carolina, a chant of “send her back” was said by the crowd. The media demanded that President Trump disavowed remarks he never said.

The double standard in how Republicans are treated is as sickening as it is harmful to the nation.

This double standard all began with a wealthy white Massachusetts liberal drunk 50 years ago today.
