SAN ANTONIO, Texas, June 13, 2014 — If President Obama were not a black Democrat, and if the GOP leaders in the House and Senate were not more intent on destroying the conservative wing of their own party than in focusing on Democratic lawlessness and abuse to our Constitutional system, Obama would have been impeached long ago.
If any of three new rumors can be proven to be true, even the inept John Boehner and Mitch McConnell will almost certainly be forced to initiate impeachment proceedings.
1. Benghazi: Lt. Col. Allen West’s Version:
Lt. Col. Allen West, a former Army officer for over 20 years and former representative from Florida’s 22nd Congressional District, is without question an honest man. Once, when his actions in battle to extract information from an Iraqi detainee — information which undoubtedly saved the lives of men in his infantry division — were scrutinized by bureaucrats, West faced a court martial and possibly years in a military prison.
During his trial West was asked whether “he would have acted differently if under similar circumstances again”; West testified, “If it’s about the lives of my soldiers at stake, I’d go through hell with a gasoline can.”
In a life or death situation, there are few men on this earth any American would want by their side more than Lt. Col. West.
West is not a man who would make assertions he did not believe to be 100 percent true, which makes his claims regarding Benghazi that much more believable.
West spoke with a military officer who personally knew one of the two Navy Seals, Glenn Doherty and Ty Woods, who died in the September 11, 2011 attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
There are many critical facts West learned from this officer that are laid out in detail on West’s site, but the most critical information, as it relates to impeachable offenses, is this:
“And I learned, as I presumed, that there was a covert weapons scheme going on in Libya, Benghazi. We had been supplying radical Islamists with weapons against Libyan President Moammar Gadhafi, effectively supplying the enemy and destabilizing that country. And it seems that there was a CIA weapons buy-back program, the aim of which was to ship the retrieved weapons out of Libya through Turkey, and to the Islamist forces in Syria.”
As West says, this information, if true, will make “will make Iran-Contra look like Romper Room.” West implies that this officer is willing to testify and share this knowledge with the Benghazi Special Committee
2. Is the surge of illegal alien children a “predictable, orchestrated and contrived event” for political purposes?
World News Daily claims that the recent flood of illegal immigrant children from Central America — and the Obama administration’s policy to allow all of them to stay in America while paying for them to have legal representation and buying them bus tickets to different parts of the country — was allegedly manufactured purely for Obama and the Democrats’ political gain.
In 2012, Obama signed the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Act. Since that time there has been a 12-fold increase in illegal children pouring across the border.
Last week, WND reports that The National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers released a damning statement in this regard:
“This is not a humanitarian crisis. It is a predictable, orchestrated and contrived assault on the compassionate side of Americans by her political leaders that knowingly puts minor illegal alien children at risk for purely political purposes. Certainly, we are not gullible enough to believe that thousands of unaccompanied minor Central American children came to America without the encouragement, aid and assistance of the United States government,”
The Obama administration is now promising to reunite the illegal alien children with their illegal alien adult family members in America, “for the best interests of the child.”
Three quarters of Hispanics vote Democrat, and congressional Republicans have continuously stated their intentions to pass amnesty-lite, which would undoubtedly result in illegal aliens having the right to vote sooner or later, but that is surely just a coincidence.
“Has America lost her ability to stand up against the tyrants and do what is right rather than what is easy?” the statement also said. The officers went on to argue that the non-enforcement of immigration laws is “the next step in becoming a failed state.”
The forceful and direct statement should be read in its entirety and is available on the WND website.
3. The Bergdahl trade: Was there money involved?
Bowe Bergdahl was held captive for five years by a terrorist group known as the Haqqani Network. Four of the five Guantanamo detainees who were released in exchange for Bergdahl were members of the Taliban, which is a completely separate group that is often at odds with the Haqqani Network.
This distinction has been completely overlooked by the media, but it is critical.
A senior intelligence official spoke with the Washington Free Beacon about this issue. Haqqani, he said, “benefits zero from the prisoner exchange. … Based on [my] 10 years of working with those guys, the only thing that would make them move Bergdahl is money … if you were to put one of these [freed Taliban prisoners] with a Haqqani in a room together, they’d beat the s**t out of each other.”
American Enterprise Institute scholar Michael Rubin, a former Middle East advisor to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, agrees. “If Bergdahl was held by Haqqani and we released Quetta Shura [Taliban], it seems Bergdahl’s captors were seeking something other than the Taliban prisoners, [and that they] got paid off, and Obama simply used the trade as an excuse to release master terrorists from Gitmo,” Rubin said.
Washington Free Beacon also reports that this “theory has not been confirmed — though [the] State [Department] has yet to deny it either — but the senior intelligence official expressed concern that the United States may have “enriched a terrorist network.”
“We just funded them [Haqqani] for the next 10 years is my guess,” the intelligence official said.
The similar thread that runs through all of these theories is Obama’s continuous and systematic disregard and disdain of federal law, which has become a hallmark of his administration:
- He uses the IRS to attack political opponents and to shut down dissent;
- He used the Dept. of Justice to provide thousands of guns to Mexican drug cartels to escalate the violence in Mexico in the hopes that it could be blamed on the United States in order to help push his anti-Second Amendment agenda;
- He unilaterally and repeatedly alters federal laws passed by Congress solely by giving a speech or making a blog post;
- He repeatedly refuses to enforce duly enacted federal laws. In the words of liberal George Washington University professor and Obama supporter Jonathan Turley:
“Barack Obama is really the president Richard Nixon always wanted to be. You know, he’s been allowed to act unilaterally in a way that we’ve fought [against] for decades.”
Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy succinctly makes the closing argument for impeachment:
“Obama’s presidency is a willful, systematic attack on the constitutional system of separation of powers, an enterprise that aims to bring about a new regime of government by executive decree. This is exactly the kind of subversion the Framers designed the impeachment power to address. The Nixon and Clinton episodes involved misconduct that did not aim to undermine our constitutional framework.”
