Barack Obama loses his voice and the world is better for it

Obama and Kerry in the Middle East. (

CHARLOTTE, NC, July 22, 2014 – When Barack Obama steps to the microphone to make a comment about any global event, which is frequently these days, the only people listening are his accomplices in the mainstream media.

Mr. Obama is no longer relevant. It is difficult to figure exactly when he disappeared from the scene as a world leader, but he has vanished and his voice no longer carries any weight.

Pundits constantly ask “what can the president do?”

Probably not much, but there are diplomatic and strategic tactics that could be implemented. Even if they have little impact they would definitely be stronger than a couple of mamby-pamby statements about “consequences” for the perpetrators. Consequences meant more back in the day when Truth or Consequences was a popular television game show. In real world America today we get neither “the truth” nor “the consequences.”

Certainly Mr. Obama could cease his tireless string of fund raisers which increases the party’s coffers but, in the long run, probably hurts his party’s candidates.

The time has come to recognize that Barack Obama, his Secretary of State, John Kerry, and his other cronies in the White House are impotent on the world stage. They cannot and will not do anything that is backed up by strength.

Take, for example, Obama’s stance on Islamists.

Benjamin Netanyahu is correct when he says the Palestinians, or Hamas if you want to separate the two, have such little regard for life that they are willing to allow their own people to be killed in order to gain sympathy for their cause. Sick as it may be, that is the Islamic way.

Here is another example of how disgusting the contagious disease called Islam can be. All that needs to be done is to look at a recent event in Afghanistan where a ten year old girl was brutally raped by a mullah following a Koran class. Because of a delay in medical care for the girl, she nearly died.

The mullah later claimed he thought the girl was 17 and that the sex was consensual.

Consensual? A young girl so violently violated that she nearly died and the mullah says he thought it was consensual.

But the story doesn’t end there. In fact, it gets worse. Police ordered the girl to be returned to her family. In any civilized country returning the girl to her family might seem like the appropriate thing to do. Not in the Islamic world, however.

In the bizarro world of Islam, the girl’s family considered killing their daughter for her sexual encounter.

Honor killings are not uncommon in the Islamic world, particularly Afghanistan.

According to Nederah Geyah, the head of the women affairs office in Kunduz, Afghanistan, “I went to the hospital when they brought her there. I was sitting next to her bed when I overheard her mother and aunt saying that her father was under tremendous pressure by the villagers to kill the girl because she had brought shame to them.”

The doctor who treated the girl said the family’s initial plan was to take the girl and throw her into the river. When Geyah rescued the girl from her family and began legal proceedings against the mullah, both she and the young victim were threatened with death.

The attending doctor was forced into hiding while Geyah resigned and moved to another place in Afghanistan.

For now the girl is said to be safe and the family has promised not to harm her. In a world where promises are empty, that promise has little significance. A religion so backward without regard for human life and a faith so devoid of compassion clearly has no scruples when it comes to honoring a solemn oath.

This is the mindset of the people Barack Obama supports in the Middle East. Perhaps he is not able to solve every problem that erupts throughout a troubled world.

On the other hand, giving credibility to a medieval society which is impossible to satisfy as he hobnobs with his fat-cat supporters is the best reason for the president to lose his international voice.
