Seattle, March 17, 2015 —The news here is really no news for the pricing of the 2016 GT-R as Nissan has kept the same pricing structure as last year and have brought about a few enhancements to boot. These cars are now for sale at select dealers around the USA.
Its “Gold Edition” sports a special “Silica Brass” paint job color, a unique VIN plate inside the engine compartment as well as a commemorative plaque on the center console inside the vehicle.
GT-R Premium and Black Edition models are now at 500 horsepower thanks to some tweaking of the car’s electronics, however, the NISMO version is unchanged at 600 horsepower.
New for the Premium model are Nissan’s 20-spoke RAYS aluminum-alloy forged wheels with premium dark finish that replaces the 10-spoke design of former years. Nissan slapped on nitrogen-filled Dunlop Sport Maxx GF 600 DSST CTT ultra high performance run-flat tires to handle the jaw-ripping performance of these cars. The tires are sized at 55/40ZRF20 for the front and 285/35ZRF20 on the rear.
