A spellbinding Halloween on “Dancing With The Stars” Monday 8pm est

Written By | Oct 30, 2017

SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 28, 2017 – Dancing With The Stars Halloween week is the ultimate dress-up party. The Dancing With The Stars costume department is a super talented bunch and its work has been especially on point this season.

TV Guide shares this behind the scenes video with us:

There is no way to avoid celebrating a Dancing With The Stars Halloween.  Season 25 is no exception. Some of the most memorable dances have taken place during “Halloween Week.” And but a few have been downright scary.

Dancing with the Stars Halloween Team Dances: Fan Chat 8pm EST

Bindi Irwin and Derke Hough, Season 21 Mirror Ball winners offered this spooky, “spellbinding” dance magic, Argentine Tango:

The eight remaining couples hope to pull out plenty of tricks to treat the fans, and avoid the terrifying possibility of going home while in monster makeup.

We still feel sorry for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi who met this fate despite her strong team Halloween dance.

For the solo performances, each couple will perform a Charleston, contemporary, paso doblé, jive, tango or Viennese waltz.

See our DWTS Photo Gallery from “Movie Week” below.

We also get the first team dances of Season 25. The celebrities and their pros will be divided into two teams, four couples apiece. The team captains are Terrell Owens, “Team Monster Mash,” and Drew Scott, “Team Phantom of the Opera.” Terrell and Drew picked their teams in a typical back and forth draw.  ABC tells us the two team captains were chosen because they had the lowest cumulative scores across the season, and they were given the chance to pick their teams in order to help boost their rankings with both the judges and viewers.

Looking over the team rosters, it seems Terrell got by far the better of the deal than Drew. But it’s also possible there are too many bosses and not enough teamwork.

The team dance scores will be combined with the celebrity’s individual dance scores for a final tally. There will be an elimination at the end of the night, based on scores and votes from last Monday.
