LOS ANGELES, September 17, 2016 —Matisyahu opened for 311 on their summer tour recently. Matisyahu may look different from that bearded guy with long sideburns who became famous for his “King Without A Crown” song, but the voice and the man are clearly the same. The following is a photo review of Matisyahu’s set at the Palladium in Hollywood, California as seen through the lens of photojournalist Tali Winshman.

Kevin J. Wells was born and raised in the Los Angeles area in a town called Montrose. He is the Sports Editor and a baseball and punk music columnist at Communities Digital News. He also writes for New Noise Magazine and currently plays guitar for and is a founding member of the Los Angeles punk rock band, Emmer Effer.
