LOS ANGELES, September 6, 2014 — Former Misfits guitar player Doyle von Frankenstein has taken his band, DOYLE, on the road to support the Abominator album. On September the tour stopped in at The Whiskey-a-go-go club in Hollywood, California.
Drummer Tiny Biuso counted off the start of the first song while the rest of the band started playing offstage…and outside on Sunset Blvd. The set consisted of both DOYLE original songs and a bunch of old Misfits songs, and even a killer drum solo. Alex “Wolfman” Story does a really good job on the old Misfits songs, while Tiny’s drums added some cool additions to those old classics. It was refreshing to see and hear those songs played in the small intimate setting that The Whiskey provides.
