Soul diva Patti LaBelle appears Sunday evening at Wolf Trap in Vienna Virginia with the Jones Family Singers at the Filene Center, Sunday, July 19 at 8pm.

Miss LaBelle brings five-decades of legendary music to the stage. First performing as Patti Labelle and the Bluebelles, the first African-American vocal group to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone.

She came to prominence with the early 1970s release of the disco song “Lady Marmalade” followed by her first number one R&B hit with “If Only You Knew”.  Labelle ventured into pop music with “New Attitude” and “Stir it Up.”


 

LaBelle has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Apollo Hall of Fame, and the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame. She is also the recipient of the World Music Awards’ Legend Award, 5 NAACP Image Awards and BET Lifetime Achievement Award.

Recently Patti LaBelle was a show favorite pro on Dancing With The Stars winning the hearts of the audience, the judges and her pro-partner Artem.

She also appeared in multiple shows on the Fox FX cult show American Horror Story Freak Show.
