WASHINGTON, May 28, 2017 – Our theme for today’s collection of mostly logic-free headline fun is taken from the lyrics of a Frank Zappa song first released on the Mothers of Invention album “Absolutely Free” (1967). Entitled “Plastic People,” this satirical cut (track) originally mirrored Zappa’s disgust at the military-industrial complex under President Lyndon Johnson.

Today, even the late Zappa himself might agree the following excerpt from “Plastic People” might accurately describe the Deep State, which is currently undermining what’s left of the Land of the Free:

Take a day and walk around
Watch the nazis run your town
Then go home and check yourself
You think we’re singing
’bout someone else

But you’re plastic people
Oh, baby, now
You’re such a drag…

On that note, let’s first take a look at some real-life 2017 Plastic People via this clip from London’s Daily Mail:

A TV show is set to follow the most plastic people on the planet who have spent close to three million dollars on surgeries and procedures.

Plastics of Hollywood will feature 12 human dolls including Ken Dolls Rodrigo Alves and Justin Jedlica, Jessica Rabbit imitator Pixee Fox, Kim Kardashian wannabe Jennifer Pamplona and alien lookalike Vinny Ohh.

Talent manager and producer, Marcela Iglesias, from Los Angeles, California said: ‘We are the world’s first agency for the most modified human beings.

‘They are incredible characters who have had plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures or just have very extreme looks.

‘From surgery and procedures, the dolls have spent over three million dollars altering how they look.

Comment: If you want to see bizarre plasticity for yourselves, here’s a link to the YouTube video. (We’d have included it here, but the latest YouTube gambit seems to be to force you to go to the site so you have to view the ads first. Sorry.) So much of what we read today reminds us of the unfolding scenario in Gibbon’s classic “The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.” Citing a 1976 article by J.G.A. Pocock, one source notes “According to Gibbon, the Roman Empire succumbed to barbarian invasions in large part due to the gradual loss of civic virtue among its citizens.”

Back in Washington, D.C., where a great many Plastic People currently reside, we were graced this week with the latest tidbit of profound wis-dumb spouted by the next White House heir-apparent to the Clinton Dynasty, which brings us to this “Daily Caller” clip:

Chelsea Clinton thinks child marriage and climate change are “interconnected.”

Chelsea Clinton, via C-Span video clip.

The former first daughter made the claim while participating on a panel at the CARE National Conference in Washington, D.C. this week, which was broadcast on C-SPAN2. Clinton was introduced as an “activist, thought leader, and change agent,” according to the Daily Wire.

“Just listening to the concerns around education and climate change, women’s health, child marriage, access to technology, all of those are of course interconnected,” Clinton said. “We have to focus on each of them in their interconnectedness, as well as individual outrages that do demand our attention.”

Comment: Almost anything you hear from your friends and neighbors possesses infinitely more gravitas than the meaningless drivel emanating from this over-entitled, over-promoted airhead. Again, we’d give you the C-Span video clip, but it is forbidden by YouTube. So if you’re interested in Chelsea’s latest intellectual bafflegab, YouTube says go here.

Former Washington Times reporter Stacy McCain tells us more about a taxpayer-supported plastic Skeletor who recently enjoyed beating the crap out of a Trump supporter, who, of course, by his very existence must have triggered this masked clown:

College Teacher Eric Clanton Charged With Assault in Anti-Trump ‘Protest’

A DVC spokesman said among the philosophy classes Clanton taught was “Introduction to Ethics.”

“We especially at Diablo Valley College received, in fact, hundreds of calls and emails concerning the hiring, that we have someone like this in front of our class, in front of our students, potentially dangerous,” said spokesman Tim Leong.

Clanton was a candidate to teach another philosophy class at the college this summer. But he was arrested by Berkeley Police Wednesday.

Investigators said cellphone videos show him swinging the U-lock at multiple Trump supporters in the head, injuring at least three people.

Police said finding the U-lock attacker was such a priority, homicide detectives were assigned to the case.

Comment: Bold text is in the original. Not much else to say here except that it’s high time the Soros-paid thugs who regularly bloody up Trump supporters need to get caught, fined, do a decent stretch of jail time and, in this case, get fired from their taxpayer supported “teaching” positions. This also leads us to question – as it if it’s really necessary at this point – just what clowns like this one are actually teaching America’s kids.

…and about that big Democrat “win” in Montana this week, the Daily Caller puts the latest fake news in perspective.

Democrat Rob Quist lost the Montana special election Thursday, but that didn’t stop Democrats nationwide from saying that the loss was actually a win.

Vox Editor Matt Yglesias published an article Friday morning asserting that because Republican Greg Gianforte didn’t win by a large enough margin, the election was actually a great sign for Democrats.

Comment: In case you didn’t follow this story, Gianforte ran against nudist and entertainer Rob Quist for the vacant seat of former Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke who is now serving as President Donald Trump’s Secretary of the Interior. Fed up with the constant harassment of left wing Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs just over a week ago, Gianforte took hold of Jacobs and allegedly “body-slammed” him to the floor. Sensing potential for an upset victory, Democrats seized upon the incident to vilify Gianforte, even as they ignored the far-more chilling story we just listed in our previous entry.

Let’s allow the following excerpt from Breitbart.com pick up this thread:

Thursday during the opening segment of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson pushed back against the suggestion President Donald Trump’s rhetoric attack the media was behind an incident involving Republican congressional hopeful Greg Gianforte and Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs.

Carlson said Gianforte’s actions were worthy of rebuke but argued the real threat of political violence in America comes from the “progressive left…”

Later, Carlson compared the Gianforte-Jacobs incident to rioting in Berkeley, CA on February 1. He noted both were bad but used the images of rioters smashing glass and setting fires to make his point.

Comment: No wonder Carlson continues to pick up fans on the Fox Network, which, in a fit of epic foolishness, has jettisoned its top personalities, leading to its precipitous fall to #3 among the cable news networks in the latest surveys. It’s interesting that we have yet to see or hear any top Democrat or the DNC itself offer even the mildest criticism for the violence and destruction being wreaked across the country by a paid cadre of violent, leftist brownshirt thugs.

We get more on the Montana story from that vastly underrated but extraordinarily perceptive former West Virginia journalist Don Surber, one of our favorite online columnists:

To portray Montana as a deeply red state because it rejected the Marxist Hillary is misleading.

Democrats poured more than $6 million into this House race, forcing Republicans to pony up.

So Democrat Rob Quist had money and a Democratic Party organization in a purple state. If anything, Thursday’s results showed that an endorsement by The Donald can swing a race to Republicans in a purple state.

The disinformation by the media in this campaign to portray Trump as the issue may succeed in fooling the masses along the coasts. But those of us not living along the Eastern Seaboard or the Pacific know better than to trust the media when it comes to politics because we know the rest of the story.

Comment: Let there be no doubt that we’re now in the midst of the run-up to America’s Civil War II, an ongoing and largely ignored development of which Surber is fully aware. Several sources have reported that after Gianforte’s body slamming of yet another left-wing lackey posing as a journalist, his almost immediately received in excess of $100,000 in its coffers for the final few days of his winning campaign.

Commenters on this story substantially favored Gianforte’s body slam answer as something the fake newsers had coming to them. While this reaction is anecdotal, I very strongly believe that an increasing number of American voters who DO NOT live on either coast are just about at the boiling point as they witness their fellow supporters being dissed, beaten, and in some cases fired from their jobs for supporting Trump, even as the president they elected has been thwarted every which way from delivering on his key promises to his supporters.

If more and more people are silently supporting Gianforte’s recent response to left-wing media harassment (despite his pro-forma apology after the election), don’t doubt this is evidence that America’s long-suffering Silent Majority is inching closer and closer to following his example. “As ye sow, so shall ye reap.”

More fake and breathtakingly illogical “news” to come in our next installment.
