SAN DIEGO, September 28, 2015 – Downton Abby, Gilligan’s Island or The Adam’s Family – did your favorite TV theme make the cut for this week’s competition on “Dancing With The Stars”?
This week all the couples will dance to a theme from a hit TV series. We predict it will be popular and not the last time we get to see this theme. The lineup of songs and dances announced by ABC has some surprisingly current choices.
No doubt one of your favorites isn’t on the list, though. No “Hawaii 5-O”? No “Cheers” or “Friends”? But we’ve got “Breaking Bad” and “I Dream of Jeanie,” so we aren’t too disappointed.
The good news for the couples is the return to just one routine this week. The newly added dance style for the week is the Samba.
For “TV Themes Week” an extremely qualified guest judge will join the regular trio, Season 19 champion Alfonso Ribeiro. Ribeiro is one of the show’s most popular ever champions and he will be warmly welcomed back. He’s become a regular in the ballroom audience, why not put him to work!
One more couple will be eliminated at the end of the show based on last week’s votes and scores. Gary and Anna, Paula and Louis, and Kim and Tony are likely to be in danger.
“Dancing With the Stars” returns with “TV Week” on Monday, September 28, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Join Communities Digital News Fan Chat during the broadcast.
