SAN DIEGO, March 16, 2015 – Season 20 of “Dancing With the Stars” brings back two faces we didn’t expect to see again, judge Len Goodman and pro Derek Hough. It also brings one dozen competitors and their pro partners, hoping to get the special 10th anniversary gold Mirror Ball Trophy into their hands.
Sadly, one of them will fall far short, becoming the first to leave and thereby joining the notorious DWTS One and Done” Club along with Lolo Jones and Kenny Mayne.
Attitude and work ethic go a long way at the beginning of the season. Dance skills can come a bit later. Some will have those skills right out of the gate, but can they convey the emotion? Do they have the performance skills and charisma the audience loves?
Wherever they start and wherever they finish, for 20 seasons seasons competitors have said repeatedly that appearing on “Dancing With The Stars” is a life-changing experience, and it is the reason we’ve been watching for 10 years now. Time flies in the ballroom.
The “All Access” live streaming video with six different views is back again during the show. Newly added is the opportunity to watch live rehearsals via streaming video Tuesday through Saturday between 4 and 7 p.m. ET. It’s all at the DWTS page on the ABC website.
Our first live chat of Season 20 of Dancing With The Stars might not be life-changing, but we promise it will a lot of fun. Bring your opinions and your observations and join us in the virtual ballroom Monday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
In the meantime, vote in our DWTS Season 20 poll. Who will win this season?
“Dancing With the Stars” debuts Monday night at 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific Time on the ABC Television Network.
