WASHINGTON, July 1, 2016 – “Big Brother” continues its twists and turns as veterans and rookies alike attempt to form alliances and avoid evictions. After three months of backstabbing, forming alliances and avoiding eviction, only Paul, Victor, Corey, Paulie, Bronte, Bridgette, Frank, Zakiyah, Jozea, Nicole, James, Michelle, Natalie and Da’Vonne remain. The question is, who will be the last one to turn off the lights and claim the half-million dollar prize?

House guests spent the most recent episode reeling from the previous one, in which veteran player Frank nominated Paul as the third house guest to face possible eviction—the process whereby one contestant gets rid of another in the quest to be last man or woman standing. Frank, a medical sales rep, has kept his cool about being the anonymous voter for eviction, while everyone is still guessing who that person is.

Frank said he was laughing on the inside because he knows he did it, and Nicole thought that was great for the 8 Pack alliance, which was formed by veterans and newbies Michelle, Corey, Zakiyah and Tiffany. They united to have the necessary number of votes to keep Paul safe and evict Jozea, a celebrity makeup artist and one of the household’s dumbest guests.

Jozea, who spent the past two weeks proclaiming himself leader of the house, began to point fingers, believing it was Michelle who did the dirty work because she was the only one who failed to show any real or fake emotion when Paul’s name was announced.

This episode introduced the first of many “Power of the Veto” competitions. Names were drawn at random along with Paulie, Paul and Jozea. Da’Vonne was picked by random draw. Nicole drew her own name and allowig her to make a pick, which, in this case, was Corey. So those two plus the three nominees and Nicole end up playing the “top dog” game.

After winning the top dog game, Paul took himself off of consideration for eviction, leaving many to wonder who will replace him on eviction night. Paulie later had a conversation with Tiffany, who revealed that former “Big Brother” contestant Vanessa is her sister. At the end of the episode it is revealed that BB Roadkill winner Frank put up Bridgette for eviction.

Tune in on Wednesday to find out who will be the next to be evicted. Will it be Jozea, Paulie or Bridgette? Will Nicole’s strategy of using Paulie as a pawn backfire, or will it lead to Jozea’s leaving the house?
