WASHINGTON, July 15, 2017 – Season 7 brings the ongoing fight for the Iron Throne to GoT fans – even as the White Walkers are poised to strike. Get caught up (or refresh your memory) with a Season 1 through 6 recap showing the highlights and fates of the main characters, dead or alive, in a little over five minutes.
The Season 7 trailer preview offers some clues as to what we can expect:
We’re most fascinated by the lines recited by Sansa Stark:
“When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.”
In her Season 7 preview, GoT expert Gayle Falkenthal writes:
Sansa is quoting her late father, Ned Stark. A lone wolf cannot survive by itself; it will die of hunger. A pack of wolves working together survives even the most brutal winter. Ned Stark is advising his children from the grave. A lone Stark will die, just like Ned, Robb, and Rickon when they were separated from their “pack” going their own way. But if the Stark children join forces, then Jon, Sansa, Arya, and Bran WILL survive winter.
Even though we now know Jon Snow is really a Targaryen, and not a Stark.
