Written By | Oct 30, 2017

WASHINGTON, October 30, 2017 – Tonight we get the treat of Halloween Team Dances of Season 25. The celebrities and their pros will be divided into two teams, four couples apiece. The team captains are Terrell Owens, “Team Monster Mash,” and Drew Scott, “Team Phantom of the Opera.”

Terrell and Drew picked their teams in a typical back and forth draw.

Preview: A spellbinding Halloween on “Dancing With The Stars” Monday 8pm est

Halloween Team Dances – Team Monster Mash vs. Team Phantom of the Opera

ABC tells us the two team captains were chosen because they had the lowest cumulative scores across the season, and they were given the chance to pick their teams in order to help boost their rankings with both the judges and viewers.

Looking over the team rosters, it seems Terrell got by far the better of the deal than Drew. But it’s also possible there are too many bosses and not enough teamwork.

The team dance scores will be combined with the celebrity’s individual dance scores for a final tally. There will be an elimination at the end of the night, based on scores and votes from last Monday.

For the team dance routines, the teams are divided up as follows (in alphabetical order):

Halloween Team Dance Team: Monster Mash: “Monster Mash” by Bobby “Boris” Pickett – Terrell Owens
Jordan Fisher & Lindsay Arnold
Lindsey Stirling & Mark Ballas

There is not doubt that Mark Ballas sees he is very close to reaching the top of the leaderboard tonight.  The question is will he play it safe or create one of his fantastic dance routines – perfect for Halloween – such as this Paso Doble with Sadie Robertson (2014)

The judges loved the choreography, but the dancing left them wanting more.  Just one more of those times that the CDN chat disagreed with the judges; Join tonight’s chat.  The competition at the top, and the bottom, of the leaderboard, makes it especially chilling.
