WASHINGTON, May 14, 2014 – This week, Friday May 16, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. ET, Communities Digital News Hour features moderator and Editor in Chief Lisa Ruth leading the discussion on the previous weeks news.

Lisa Ruth is a former Intelligence Analyst for the CIA where she won several awards for distinguished service and analysis. Ruth has a Master of Arts in Foreign Affairs (Latin America & Asia) from the university of Virginia, Charlottesville.

Guest host Richard Cameron, host of Open Rebellion Radio and CDN columnist continues the discussion on the purpose and legalities of the Benghazi Select Committee process with DC attorney Judson Phillips, author of the Cold Hard Truth on Communities Digital News.

The show’s second segment will feature Dr. James Picht, former economic advisor to the Institute of Government Administration of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and to the Russian Ministry of Finance. Dr. Picht has also lectured on constitutional law and legal procedure at the Ivan Franko University law school in Ukraine. He will be speaking with Dr. Michael Busler, a public policy analyst and a Professor of Finance at Richard Stockton College, where Busler teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance and Economics. Dr. Busler writes Funding Democracy: The Economics of Freedom.

Drs. Picht and Busler will be discussing the economic impacts of the conflicts in Ukraine on Russia, Western Europe and the U.S. Primary to the conversation will be oil: Who has it and who needs it.

Chef Mary returns to talk summer salads. Chef Mary graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu, studied in Tuscany and is a certified nutritionist from American Fitness Professionals and Associates. She is the go-to chef for questions about food, health and kitchen organization.
