LOS ANGELES, December 29, 2015 — CES 2016 — this year’s edition of the annual Consumer Electronics Show — is right around the corner. Without a doubt, this is the heavyweight championship for unveiling the tech industry’s latest drones, wearables, gadgets and autonomous vehicles, just to name a view.
Before your Twitter and Instagram accounts are flooded with plugs for the best product and services you need to see and ultimately buy, check out CDN’s top five picks in the upcoming show. We will be keeping an eye on all five as they strut their stuff at the Las Vegas Convention Center in less than a week from now.
How would you like to share Thursday’s Shondaland with your best girlfriends? Well according to Kickstarter, Cast can do just that. This device is a smart hub for social entertainment that integrates a camera, a TV, and all the devices in your possession to let you share them with your girls. Pretty cool right?! Crossing my fingers for this one as we all wait and sip wine to see if Fitz visits Olivia on the new couch.
The mobile community is buzzing with speculation that Chinese giant Huawei may enter into the U.S. market during CES. If you’re not already aware of this, Huawei is the third largest smartphone maker in the world even with the ongoing ban in the U.S. Instead of riding on the back of another giant as they did with the Nexus 6P, their hope is to make waves this time with their very own product.
LG CordZero™ Vacuum
Cutting the cord on electronics is what’s in this year, and LG has clearly gotten the message.
During CES expect LG to roll out a new line of cutting edge technology geared toward a smarter, technologically savvy consumer who is craving a tangle free experience.
The LG CordZero Vacuum is part of this rollout.
According to Yahoo Auto, corporate giants Ford and Google are teaming up to build self-driving vehicles that will combine Ford’s manufacturing expertise and Google’s self-driving software development.
News on this major deal has been hush-hush until now. But we do know the deal will be moved under Google’s parent company Alphabet, which will shield Ford from certain product liability issues.
My prediction: This year won’t be any different.
