WASHINGTON, April 27, 2016 – Going green is always a wonderful idea. We’ll save the planet AND create lots of swell, new, high-paying jobs. That’s the myth. The undeniable facts are these: All these so-called solutions will result in much higher utility bills for hapless customers who can’t afford them. Worse, foolish moves like shutting down clean, low-emitting nuclear power plants will cause hapless taxpayers billions of dollars. Or euros, as Germany is beginning to discover.
