WASHINGTON, May 26, 2016 – Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios’ alternative take on DC’s heroes, hooligans and thieves Injustice: Gods Among Us offers game players a dark fighting game that explores “the psychological dangers of power, the temptations of absolute authority and the effects of grief on the psyche of metahumans.”
A free version of the game is available for mobile download and allows players to build a roster of DC super heroes and villains each with their own moves, powers, and gear ready to enter the arena in touch-based 3-on-3 action combat.
The mobile download version of the game has Samsung creating the Batman inspired Galaxy S7 Edge Justice Edition, mixing recognizable black and gold accents for eye candy along with “enhanced hardware and software capability” alongside larger battery capacity for a better mobile gaming experience.
Samsung had success with crossover marketing before with The Avengers: Age of Ultron when the company crafted an Iron Man Galaxy S6 Edge. In certain locales, the Batman handset will come bundled with a Gear VR headset for more immersive views.
Players should be aware that Injustice: Gods Among Us is free to play, but it contains items that can be purchased for real money.
The phone will be available next month in China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America and Russia, but Samsung says more locations will be announced in the future.
