Another beheading that has nothing to do with Islam according to Obama

CHARLOTTE, NC, November 17, 2014 – The first thing to consider when Barack Obama speaks about the most recent beheading by the Islamic State is why the president is so keen to capitalize on each incident as an opportunity to defend Islam.

Not that King Con’s words have meaning any more, as evidenced by his out and out lies about Jonathan Gruber and the Obamacare fiasco, but the blatant displays of Muslim advocacy are an embarrassment to the office of the president of the United States.

Said Obama about the beheading of Peter Kassig, “ISIL’s actions represent no faith, least of all the Muslim faith which Abdul-Rahman adopted as his own.”

“Least of all the Muslim faith?” What? Those six words are a stinging rebuke of all other religions. Would someone please ask Mr. Obama what other religious groups endorse beheadings in any way? To say that Christianity, Judaism, Bhuddism or any other faith is bloodthirsty at all is just plain outlandish.

To claim that they are more violent than Islam is ridiculous beyond rationality and, more than that, absolutely fallacious.

As Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch put it, “apparently it is far more likely that the beheading of Abdul-Rahman Kassig represented the Buddhist faith, or the Baptist faith, or the Jain faith, or the Methodist faith, than that it represented the Muslim faith. This is despite the fact that the man who actually beheaded Kassig stood over his severed head and explained what he had done solely and wholly in Islamic terms.”

Following that statement, Spencer asked, “Will Obama ever explain how it came to be that a group that calls itself ‘the Islamic State’ and says that everything it does is based on the Qur’an and Sunnah actually has nothing to do with Islam? No, he never will, and the mainstream media will never call upon him to do so.”

Daniel Greenfield posed another interesting fact when he wrote, “while the media is describing Peter Kassig, the ISIS hostage who apparently converted to Islam in captivity and was beheaded, by his American name, the Obama statement calls him by his Muslim name…it’s truly despicable for Obama to exploit the murder of an American in order to do public relations for Islam.”

Good word “despicable.” It describes the current occupant of the White House to a tee. Does this not give any doubters about Barack Obama’s allegiance to Islam any ounce of concern about his mindset? It should.

Meanwhile, ISIS continues to grow. Perhaps the bombing runs have done a little to slow their progress, but the organization is getting larger. Furthermore, the Islamic State and al-Qaeda appear to have joined forces in a common cause.

Though to two terrorist groups have different agendas, they both have the same ultimate goal and the whole world knows what it is…except, apparently, Barack Obama.

As Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs sees it, “He (Obama) has denied it (ISIS) has anything to do with Islam, despite its name, and denied that the Foley, Kassig, Henley, Hufford beheadings have anything to do with the US, despite the Islamic State’s explicit threats to the US. This shows that he is encased in denial and willful ignorance — not a recipe for success or a sign that he is prepared to deal with the threat.”

Patrick Cockburn of The Independent warns that “The Islamic State has recruited an army hundreds of thousands strong, far larger than previous estimates by the CIA…the ability of Isis to attack on many widely separated fronts in Iraq and Syria at the same time shows that the number of militant fighters is at least 200,000, seven or eight times bigger than foreign in intelligence estimates of up to 31,500 men.”

Recruits are now coming from captured territories in Syria and Iraq with estimates that the area controlled by the Islamic State is roughly the size of Great Britain and contains a population of between 10 and 12 million people.

Says Cockburn “this gives the jihadis a large pool of potential recruits.

The fear regarding the Islamic State’s military strength is its ability to fight a two front war on the border of Turkey and also in Iraq. Even more critical is the difficulty of being able to eliminate ISIS with air strikes alone.

Cockburn notes that “The underestimate of the size of the force that ISIS can deploy may explain why the U.S. and other foreign governments have been repeatedly caught by surprise over the past five months.”

But there is one more critical reason why the West has been caught off guard, and that is because the American president with the Islamic name refuses to admit that ISIS has anything to do with Islam.
