LOS ANGELES, June 23, 2015 —For most people, baseball boils down to wins and losses. Other baseball fans might like to look a bit further and get into the vastness of the SABR statistics. Then there are those who look right through the game to give fans the only stat that matters, grammar.
While they may not have won the World Series since 1948, the Cleveland Indians are the grammar kings of baseball, at least based on their social media posts.
Grammarly is a website dedicated to correcting your grammar. The folks at Grammarly looked at all 30 official MLB team sites and analyzed the top 150 comments for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors. Each team had an average of over 10,000 words.
