Welcoming refugees or importing ISIS

Proposed legislation would give full ownership of Syrian and Iraqi jihadists entering the U.S. to the Obama administration and the Democratic Party.

President Obama dismissed opposition to his plan to bring 10,000 Syrian refugees to America while attending a G-20 meeting in Turkey.

WASHINGTON, November 20, 2015 – When Republican presidential hopefuls assailed his plan to import 10,000 Syrian refugees into the United States over the next twelve months, President Obama clumsily framed his GOP opponents as cowards.

“At first they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates,” said the president while attending a G-20 meeting in Turkey, “Now they are scared of three-year-old orphans.”

What Republicans fear, as do most Americans, are Syrian millennials with an angry Allah in their hearts and explosive vests strapped to their chests.

It’s only a matter of time for the U.S. to be another ISIS target

Meanwhile in a 298-137 vote the House passed a bill the New York Times said “would require the FBI director to certify the background investigation for each Syrian or Iraqi refugee admitted to the U.S., and Homeland Security and intelligence officials would have to certify that they are not security threats.”

In other words, the legislation would give full ownership of Syrian and Iraqi jihadists entering the U.S. to the Obama administration and the Democratic Party.

You know, the same crew that so deftly took ownership of American health care.

But top Senate Democrats pledged to block the House measure from ever getting to the Senate floor for a vote.

“The problem is not with refugees,” Democratic Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid told a press conference. “I don’t think we’ll be dealing with it [ISIS attacks] over here.”

Sen. Chuck Schumer assured the press his party had an alternative plan in legislation proposed by California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, which would instead reform the nations “visa waiver program and the ability of terrorists to buy guns,” said Schumer.

Gun control does not conquer evil

As you surely know by now, Democratic gun-control measures are more effective at preventing law-abiding Americans from purchasing weapons than criminals and, very soon, terrorists.

The president has announced he will veto any legislation slowing his Syrian refugee initiative.

“I don’t for the life of me understand this,” GOP Speaker of the House Paul Ryan told Fox’s Sean Hannity. “He [Obama] just said he is going to veto our bill putting a pause on the refugee program. I can’t imagine why one would do that. Our bottom line is very, very clear – and it’s the first responsibility of the federal government – secure the homeland. Keep people safe in America.”

An anonymous Republican House staffer told The Hill that Obama’s fast-track immigration program for Syrian refugees isn’t doing his fellow Democrats any favors,

“We’ll crucify them,” he said.

I’m sure he meant that politically and not ISIS literally.
