Forrest Gruber’s plan to deceive Americans

Forrest Gruber’s plan to deceive Americans

WASHINGTON, December 10, 2014  –  John Gruber has now had his day in front of Darryl Issa’s Oversight Committee during which Gruber was asked “Are you stupid?”  To which he answered, “I don’t think so, no.”

If you haven’t heard of MIT economist Jonathan Gruber, the Obamacare architect who said in a video that his complicated design of President Obama’s signature health care law was meant to pull the wool over the eyes of “stupid” American voters, you obviously get all your news from one of the three major networks, ABC, NBC and CBS.

According to the Media Research Center, the major broadcast networks “have chosen not to cover this devastating [Gruber] video on either their morning or evening newscasts. During the day … Gruber’s comments were covered on cable news channels CNN and Fox News Channel…”

Speaking of Fox, the highest rated cable news channel aired a third Jonathan Gruber video in which he and fellow academincians have a good laugh at the expense of, who else, “stupid” American voters for their failure to grasp that Obamacare taxes on health insurers “pass on higher prices [to consumers]… It’s very clever, you know, basic exploitation of the lack of economic understanding of the American voter,” said a giddy Gruber.

Gruber is speaking of the government’s favorite tax – the “indirect tax.”

This is how our targeting friends at the IRS defines it: “A business may recover the cost of the taxes it pays by charging higher prices to customers. A tax shift occurs when the business shifts its taxes to others.”

Can you say Obamacare?

As Gruber mentioned in another video, Obamacare is not a health care program. It’s an income redistribution scheme. High Obamacare premiums and deductibles funnel a healthy chunk of your income to others… like the millions of poor and unskilled Central Americans flooding across our porous border.

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, Obamacare’s expansion of Medicaid benefits “immigrants and their U.S.-born children… The data show that immigrants and their children accounted for 42 percent of the growth in Medicaid enrollment from 2011 to 2013. Immigrants benefited more from Medicaid expansion than natives because a much larger share of immigrants are poor and uninsured. It seems almost certain that immigrants and their children will continue to benefit disproportionately from Obamacare.”

It will be interesting to see if President Obama’s impending executive action on amnesty for millions of illegal aliens includes unilateral executive action amending Obamacare to give these fast-track citizens-in-the-making access to your income, ah, government-run health care.

When in 2012 President Obama was running for re-election, he campaigned hard on the issue of “income inequality.” He called it “the defining challenge of our time.”

A Gallup poll “found 70% saying that it is extremely or very important that the federal government in Washington enact policies that increase the equality of opportunity for people to get ahead.”

In 2013, Forbes magazine reported that the fortunes of the nation’s 1,426 billionaires totaled $5.4 trillion. The same magazine also estimates that unfunded liabilities for Social Security and Medicare stand at around “$127 trillion, which is roughly $1.1 million per taxpayer and nearly double 2012’s total world output.”

The planet Earth doesn’t have enough billionaires to meet the wealth redistributional dreams of brilliant mathematical masterminds like MIT Professor Jonathan Gruber.

Democratic President Barack Obama hired Gruber to help him craft Obamacare. Massachusetts Republican Governor Mitt Romney hired Gruber to help him craft Romneycare before that. Obama got elected president twice. Romney, it seems, wants to run for president again in 2016.

It appears there’s more than enough stupidity to go around.
