WASHINGTON, January 17, 2014 – He isn’t going to war with America’s enemies. He is going to war with real Americans.  Harvey Weinstein is one of the biggest moguls in Hollywood.  He words make or break careers and movies out there.

What is his latest project?

He wants to make a movie that will “destroy the NRA.”  Weinstein is a big time liberal.  He raised huge amounts of money for Barack Obama twice and for the Democrat National Committee or as real Americans call it, the Party of Treason.

Weinstein is launching his movie effort with washed up liberal star Meryl Streep.

This movie is going to be a fictional work.  Weinstein compares it to “Mr. Smith goes to Washington.”

Here is a prediction.

That movie may be the biggest Hollywood flop since Ishtar.

But there is a serious question that needs to be asked.

Why do conservatives support the entertainment industry?

Why do conservatives buy their product?

Occasionally Hollywood delivers a product real Americans can cheer about.  The recent blockbuster movie “Lone Survivor” is an example of that.  But that is the exception rather than the rule.

What does Hollywood deliver?

In program after program, conservatives, particularly Christians are made to appear evil or buffoonish.  When was the last time Hollywood produced a major motion picture with a conservative Christian as the hero?

Hollywood is a cash cow for Democrats.  Every Democrat who is running for national office makes a pilgrimage to Hollywood to raise money.

If you want to know how Hollywood feels about real Americans, look no further than the Twitter feeds of many of these “celebrities.”  They are arrogant, disdainful of conservatives in general and anyone who would dare to disagree with their overinflated intellect.

In 2009, after Barack Obama was sworn in, Hollywood stars recorded videos where they pledged allegiance.  They did not pledge allegiance to America or to the Constitution.  They pledged to serve Barack Obama!

All of this begs the question, why do conservatives support Hollywood at all? Why do conservatives patronize movies that feature stars who routinely disparage them?  Why do conservatives give their money to enrich people who hate them?

America is a free nation.  The right to own firearms (or weapons in general) is the hallmark of a free people.  Free people are allowed the tools to defend themselves.  Slaves and serfs are not.

History has shown us all too often what happens to a people who lack the means to defend themselves.  Harvey Weinstein is Jewish and he should realize what the consequences of his actions are.  In Germany and eventually all of the Nazi occupied lands, one of the first actions the Nazis took was to disarm the Jews.  When the Gestapo came to take them to the death camps they had no tools to fight back.

America is a free nation.

If Weinstein wants to make his movie with his money that is his right.  But a free people have the right to decide if they want to patronize his product.  And if a free people chooses not to, then he will lose a lot of money.

Here’s hoping Harvey Weinstein’s new movie is the biggest flop in the history of Hollywood.

Judson Phillips
Judson Phillips is the founder of Tea Party Nation, one of the largest Tea Party Groups in the country and the number one national tea party site on the Internet. A lawyer by profession, Judson has been involved in politics since his teens. “Ronald Reagan inspired me,” he says. Judson became involved in the Tea Party movement in February 2009 after hearing Rick Santelli’s rant on CNBC. “I heard there was going to be a Tea Party in Chicago inspired by Santelli, but didn’t know if anyone was doing a rally in Nashville where I was based. Finally I emailed Michelle Malkin and asked her if there was a Tea Party in Nashville. Malkin sent an email back saying, ‘No, why don’t you organize one?’ I did.” The first Tea Party in Nashville was held late February 2009 which drew a crowd of about 600. Judson then organized the Tax Day Tea Party in Nashville, which drew over 10,000 people into downtown. It was at this time that Tea Party Nation was formed. Later that year, Judson decided to bring activists from across the country together, so he organized the first National Tea Party Convention in February 2010, which featured Alaska’s former Governor and Republican Vice Presidential Nominee, Sarah Palin as it’s keynote speaker. He currently manages the Tea Party Nation website, writes several daily columns and is working on more projects than any one person should. He is a frequent guest on cable and broadcast news shows, including on Fox, MSNBC, CNN and others.
