CHARLOTTEJanuary 24, 2014 – After five years in office, the time has come for FOX News, conservative talk radio and white America to apologize to Barack Obama. First it was George Bush’s fault, but the roadblocks to Obama’s success have grown exponentially as the racist country he leads refuses to cooperate with his policies.

As the president’s approval ratings decline, media pundits are quick to remind us what a likable person Barack Obama is as a follow-up to any report about his ineptitude as president. It is no different than the standard comment that all Muslims are not terrorists whenever Islamic jihad makes news. Both are statements geared to provide cover for journalists who do not want to be labeled as Islamophobes or racists.

One reporter went so far as to compare Barack Obama to Gilligan of “Gilligan’s Island” fame by saying that Gilligan was a lovable character who was a victim of his own incompetency. Truthfully, Gilligan was far more likable than Barack Obama could ever hope to be.

Here is the dirty little secret. There is nothing about Barack Obama that is “likable.” Furthermore, the bigger secret is that race or FOX or Rush Limbaugh are not the culprits.

Mainstream media will, for the most part, not admit that the problem with Barack Obama is not with the blackness of his skin, but with the darkness of his soul.

Here are a few words to describe the president, none of which are attributes he possesses; statesmanship, dignity, character, honesty, humility, diplomacy. That is a powerful list and “race” is not among them.

In the double-standard world of Barack Obama, everything is fine so long as you do not challenge his policies, his patriotism or his sincerity.

Forget about the fact that Obama has a legacy of botched foreign policy in Egypt, Libya and Syria not to mention that he is in the process of negotiating with a terrorist regime in Iran. That, of course, is race based.

Let’s ignore the dishonesty of “If you like your health plan, you can keep your plan. Period. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Period.” Disregard the truth that the Obamacare website has not worked properly since it rolled out in October of last year. Try to pretend that the president’s showcase piece of legislation is not an economic disaster that hurts more Americans than it helps. We all know that race is the cause.

Name any other president who has ever scolded the people who elected him as the current occupant of the White House does. Barack Obama’s reputation was built upon his eloquence, but today when he speaks, he lectures us. He talks down to his constituents as if we are children who got caught with our hands in the cookie jar. Father Barack knows best. Do not challenge his philosophies or ideas. If you do, you are a racist.

How many times have the American people been lied to in the face of facts that glaringly tell us otherwise? Benghazi was a video. Obamacare will save families $2,500 a year. Al-Qaeda is dead. The list is endless, but it matters not because it all goes back to race.

Remember Hurricane Sandy? Obama made his token appearance in New Jersey while chomping at the bit to get on Air Force One for a fundraiser on the West coast. He could not get out of town quick enough. Ahhh, but he is likable. That is what likable people do, isn’t it? That is how likable people lead. How could Mr. Obama possibly believe that anything but race would be the cause of his problems.

Barack Obama came into office with an economy in dire straits. Rather than focus on creating jobs, he spent the first year of his presidency shoving healthcare down our throats. Never has there been a more self-absorbed, petulant, condescending, self-righteous president of the United States.

Racism was not a factor when Americans went to the polls in 2008 to vote for “hope and change.” It must have been Mitt Romney’s “47 percent” comment that was racist enough to result in Obama’s re-election in 2012. Where have all those racist Caucasians gone who helped elect Barack Obama twice?

Nothing the president does happens without being politically motivated and calculated. Call that likable if you want, but the majority of Americans would hardly rate those as “likable” attributes.

President Obama was never fully vetted before he was elected. Each day we continue to learn more about him and there are more negatives than positives. Sadly the president is, first and foremost, looking out for Barack Obama and his family. The American people are an afterthought. They only matter when they can be used as a tool for his personal agenda.

It is difficult to comprehend that it is possible to “like” Barack Obama while and “dislike” his policies. That is a disconnect that has little relevance. Therefore, the reality is that it absolutely must be racism and, we the people, owe the president an apology for not recognizing his self-sacrifice in all that he has accomplished.
