Democrats have tarnished the dream of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Leaders of the Democrat Party have failed to live up to the dream of equality expressed by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

SAN JOSE, CA, January 16, 2017  –  On Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Americans are witnessing the de-evolution of the gains made by the great civil rights leader in the 1960s. At this point in the new year, some confirmation hearings for president-elect Donald Trump’s picks for his cabinet are being conducted, and the Democrats seem to have sworn an oath to fight Trump tooth and nail at the start and all four years of his presidency. Unfortunately, the mantra of racism is being repeated again and again to not only target Trump’s appointees, but to attack Trump directly. Sadly, the tactics of the Party of Tyranny, aka as the “Democratic” Party, have thoroughly corrupted Martin Luther King, Jr.’s conception of racism.

This past Wednesday, in an historically rare, but not unprecedented effort, Senator Cory Booker, a Democrat and junior senator from New Jersey, testified against fellow senator, Alabama Republican Jeff Sessions, during his confirmation hearings for the post of Attorney General. Despite Sessions’ years of experience defending the Constitution, he faced significant resistance from Booker, as well as other Democrats, who raised allegations of racism against him. It seems a blatant example of a man of the Party touting the Party line as he may need to demonstrate his willingness to do whatever Party puppet masters want him to do, if he has aspirations of running for President of the United States in four years.

Another congressman who now seems even more in lock-step compliance with the Party of Tyranny is Democrat Congressman John Lewis of Georgia who bluntly stated the other day in the confirmation hearings that he does not view Donald Trump a “legitimate president.” It also shows up as the obedience to Party dictates that he become one more puppet to repeat the Party line that the Democrats lost the election because of the Russians. It seems as if he has been tasked to repeat the Democrat “blame Putin” mantra. It demonstrates that major Democrats are still in denial over the reality that Hillary Clinton lost the election due to the rejection of President Obama’s socialist policies and executive mandates.

In each of these cases of “Party unity” it is a clear contradiction of what Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. criticized as the characteristics of mindless conformity, and John Lewis should know better. In a sermon entitled, “Transformed Nonconformist,” Rev. King stated:

Thomas Jefferson wrote, ‘I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.’ To the conformist and the shapers of the conformist mentality, this must surely sound like a most dangerous  and radical doctrine. Have we permitted the lamp of independent thought and individualism to become so dim that were Jefferson to write and live by these words today we would find cause to harass and investigate him? If Americans permit thought-control, business control, and freedom control to continue, we shall surely move within the shadows of fascism.

There is one major Party continually demanding conformity through “comment control” referred to today as political correctness, and the very same Party legislating anti-business regulations via the EPA, the IRS, and more recently via Obamacare, and that same Party has put forth other executive orders flowing out of the White House, which seem somewhat like the injustice initiated by the Party of tyranny in the days before, during, and after the days of the American Civil War. Today’s targets are Conservatives, Christians and common American citizens. That injustice cannot be accepted any more than the injustice that John Lewis once fought against as a young man. Sadly, he has fallen into conformity with his Party of Tyranny.

In the same logic, Senator Booker, has demonstrated that he is just another Democrat conformist, with little originality, as he shamelessly throws the race card out in an extremely public display of partisan divisiveness. It is a shame that Booker followed such orders from the Party puppet masters because it essentially destroys the basic premise in his recent book: United: Thoughts on Finding Common Ground and Advancing the Common Good. Maybe he is still evolving his thoughts, or maybe the book was not really selling; nonetheless, it does not really matter now. Booker’s behavior belies any belief he may have sought to enlighten the public with because his conformity with the Party mantra reveals him to be a good parrot.

In reality, the words of these two Democrats do not really matter in the general scheme of things as three years ago, the Party of Tyranny, changed the nomination rules in order to do away with the then existing 60 vote threshold for then President Obama’s Cabinet choices. It means the Republicans can run the tables this time around. President- elect Trump’s Cabinet nominees will only require a simple majority of votes to be confirmed, and with the GOP’s 52 vote majority in the Senate, the Democrats are eating crow. Those paying attention may wonder why the Democrats even bother with the drama. The fundamental answer: they are the Party of conformity – absolute unity under the Party of Tyranny!

Even more tragic is President Obama’s words the other night in his hollow “Farewell” address. First of all, he was only saying goodbye as POTUS; he is not going away. His goodbye speech was a cloaked call to action to his minions to stand and fight for the ground he won, or to be ready to take it back in four years (and if Cory Booker behaves as a good Democrat soldier, he may follow in Obama’s footsteps). Certainly, Booker is being asked to use the race card in this situation, and he did not appear flustered by using this tactic that Obama used over and over during his years in office.

President Obama did not seem to hesitate in using the cry of racism as a shield or a spear to protect his presidential decisions or actions, or to protect fellow Democrats. Those in the Obama Administration got accustomed to the use of the issue of racism to point fingers, accuse, and divide Americans. Booker also appeared comfortable is spewing the mantra in a highly public setting. Unfortunately, such constant usage of the cry of racism against political opponents left the country even more racially embattled during Obama’s presidency.

Yet, in Obama’s goodbye, he admitted something appalling:

After my election, there was talk of a post-racial America. Such a vision, however well-intended, was never realistic. For race remains a potent and often divisive force in our society.

When one considers that Senator Obama in 2008 took advantage of the issue of race, it is quite appalling. While many of his supporters believed that the fast-rising rock star senator would heal racial divisions in the United States, Democrats marketed Obama’s brand in that way, and this concept of a post-racial America originated from the Obama campaign, and was perpetuated by    the mainstream media. In this light, it was never the intention of the Democrats or Barack Obama    to champion efforts of brotherhood when they could use the charge of racism as a shield or a spear.  In reality, it is clear that Obama and leaders of the “Democratic” Party” have tarnished the legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

President Obama has been touted as a highly intelligent man, and there may be differences of opinion on that, but if he is highly intelligent, he should be smart enough to realize that many people rejected his politics, not because of the color of his skin, but because of the content of his character and the nature of his Chicago based, thug-like politics. And, America has witnessed the violence of the BLM protests, and the paid to play protestors of the DNC, all over the nation – mainly directed at the Trump campaign.  And, the concerted Democrat mantra drones on into 2017. Yet, in 2017, the president is walking back the illusion of his ability to inspire brotherhood as unrealistic. What remains is that the Party of Tyranny will continue to use race as a “potent and often divisive force in our society.”

Americans should reconsider the value and accomplishments of a man like Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. in light of what harm the Democrats have perpetrated upon race relations in recent times. Many good hearted American people had the notion that Barack Obama was the proof of the fulfillment of the Civil Rights Movement. Many remember the words of his famous “I Have     A Dream” speech, but many do not remember some of the more significant points:

And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.’

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit  down together at the table of brotherhood.

I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.http://a.abcnews.com/assets/images/spacer.gif

Dr. King viewed the Civil Rights Movement as the furtherance of the American Dream, not an act of rebellion against the founder’s dream of a nation dedicated to freedom, and certainly not a dream of condoning violence against innocent citizens. Where is his dream of brotherhood today? It is not being fostered by Democrat leaders today. They are fomenting the cry of racism and the ‘racist’ accusation perpetuates judging people by the color of their skin, and not by the content of their character. This runs counter to the dream that Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. shared with the American people at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963. All Americans should not let go of Rev. King’s dream – ever!
