Alcohol and caffeinated drinks create the opposite effect. They dehydrate the skin and deplete it of nutrients. Also, those who drink often have been found to have poorer diets. A proper diet is also key in getting proper nutrients for the skin.

Moderation, as with almost anything consumed, is key. Those who drink alcohol should not be scared, just aware. There is much more to skincare than using products or having a regimen.

After a night of drinking, most people look for foods associated with hangover cures. If you want your skin to not look hungover, skip the greasy foods. Drink lots of water to rehydrate your skin and eat foods high in nutrients.
