WASHINGTON, March 20, 2017 – Glenn Beck and The Blaze suspended popular host Tomi Lahren. Lahren and her show “Tomi” have been suspended for at least a week beginning Monday. Lahren is currently under contract until September.
Lahren came under fire after her appearance on The View where she said she is pro-choice and called pro-life conservatives hypocrites. She said
“I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies.”
Lahren got attacked following her appearance on ‘The View’ and took to Twitter, saying “I speak my truth. If you don’t like it, tough. I will always be honest and stand in my truth.” Lahren’s comments earned a response from Beck on his radio show.
“I would disagree that you’re a hypocrite if you want limited government, and yet you want the government to protect life of the unborn.”
“It’s very, very clear. But it takes intellectual honesty, and it takes a willingness to actually think these things through and to do more than just read Twitter or Facebook to get your news and your political opinions. You actually have to study things — these things out in your mind. Especially at a time period like today,” Beck said.
Tomi Lahren gained national attention for her political rants during a segment on her show called “Final Thoughts.” Her segments focused on heated issues such as Black Lives Matter and President Obama’s response to terrorism. One segment that gained her a large following came after the deadly shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

If Lahren is forced to leave, it remains unclear where she would end up. Prior to her time at The Blaze, she hosted ‘Final Thoughts’ on One America News Network.
Will Tommi Lahren rise again. Like many millennials she has succeeded in using social media to spread her message, giving her the ability to deliver her message completely on her own and without a network and its rules.
