WASHINGTON, November 8, 2015 – After last weeks exploration of Morgan’s story, which left fans simultaneously disappointed and highly entertained, tonight we hope to find out what Glenn’s disposition truly is.

My money is that he is alive and will escape the Walker herd munching on Nicholas (in much the same way he and Rick walked through the Zombie herd covered in guts) but that might be wishful thinking.

In tonight’s episode, NOW, Alexandria is recovering from the Wolves attack; we see the wear and tear on Deanna’s face in the sneak peak video. We also know that Maggie and Aaron are going out to find Glenn, so we might find out what happened.

Or not.

Quite simply Glenn does not survive the Saviors arc of the comic book. and series creator Greg Nicotero keeps alluding to returning the show arc to the comic book arc, so that means Glenn’s death is supposed to be via a barbered wire covered baseball bat.

When the producer was asked about Glenn’s close calls with death, he remained elusive in regards to Glenn’s fate.

“That’s not even a question I would begin to start to answer. The truth of the matter is a lot of our characters have those brushes with death and some of them make it through and some of them don’t.”

If Glen has died by Walker herd, does that mean that Daryl is in line for the barb wire bat beating death? Face it, fans have gone a bit “haywire” since the announcement of actor Norman Reedus’ new AMC TV show.

As the weekly episodic moves forward to align with the graphic novel’s Saviors story arc, rumors are that AMC is attempting to find an actor to play Negan, wielder of the deadly bat, lovingly named Lucille.

If true someone is going to die by Lucille and if Glenn is dead, some believe it is possible Daryl could be the substitute. And the show is always looking to the final show of the season to ensure a return audience – this year for Season 7.

Before we discuss that, however looking at one of my favorite indicators of who lives and who dies in The Walking Dead, I believe that Glenn does survive and it was just a bit of emotional game ship by our beloved producers, keeping us on our seats during the Morgan episode Here’s Not Here episode last week.

So questions to be answered tonight are will Glenn escape the herd and how and  how does Rick attacked inside Dale’s RV by Wolves, whom he defeated, and now surrounded by the ever growing Walker herd, survives.

We believe that in his fever and in attempt to escape the herd, he amputates his Zombie gore infected hand. Or Daryl saves him and Dr. Denise Cloyd (Merritt Wever) amputates the offending hand.

Whatever happens, producers love to misdirect TWD fans and it cannot be argued that a great way to end the Walking Dead Season 6 finale would be to have everyone on their knees before Negan.

A bit of here we go again if we flash back to Terminus and the ending / opening of season four and five.

Putting Daryl in line of Negan’s bat would ensure plenty of season break social media chatter and what could be their largest viewing audience for the opening of Season 7.
