SAN DIEGO, August 30, 2016 –  The rumor mill turned out to be right on target about the new Season 23 cast of “Dancing With The Stars.” Many names had already leaked out, if you can call them leaks. DWTS posted teaser photos with the pros on its social media accounts. But there were still a few last minute surprises.

The cast had its formal debut with a group appearance by the stars with their assigned professional partners Tuesday morning on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Since names get out no matter what ABC does, a lot of the stars and pros start their own rumors about themselves and they turn out to be true. We knew there would be a few Olympic athletes, a few stars from our favorite childhood TV shows, a music icon or two, and a crazy choice out of left field.

No need for any changes in this lineup formula. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The producers know how to stir the mix. The celebrities competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy this Season 23 are:
