WASHINGTON, November 4, 2014 –As the sun rises across America, we offer this video, authored by Tom Blumer and spotted this morning via It’s billed as non-partisan, but tilts right.

Nonetheless, for those of you who don’t think today’s voting matters to you, think again. Get up. Go out. And vote.

Many elections today will be razor thin and some will require a victorious challenger to gain a vote margin greater than usual in order to evade the documented, widespread vote fraud that’s been detected in several cities and states already.

So it does matter.

Video is approximately 4 minutes and change. Lyrics printed below this YouTube video.

It matters.

And BTW, be sure you return here to CDN for tonight’s live chat during the election returns.

Lyrics (Copyright ©2014 Thomas W. Blumer):

You may be thinking our world’s just fine,
Or at least it’s not getting worse.
The truth is that we are short on time,
So recognize this first.

Our problems won’t go away on their own,
And the ones we are facing are grave.
If you don’t wake up and get involved,
There may not be much left to save,

So it matters, it matters,
Other people won’t do it for you.
It matters, it matters,
Don’t let it get decided by just a few,
It matters.

While we were asleep, they all got us in deep,
The powers that be, they forgot you and me.
They’ve strung us along, they’ve ignored right and wrong,
They’ve dug us a hole, almost taken control.

So now is the time for you to engage,
And start to undo what they’ve done.
If you stay away and decide not to care,
Just don’t be surprised when they’ve won.

So it matters, it matters,
Other people won’t do it for you.
It matters, it matters,
Don’t let it get decided by just a few,
It matters, it matters,
Our future depends upon people like you,
It matters, it matters,
If they get their way what will you do?

We all have families, careers and lives,
And it’s so hard to carve out the time.
But being involved is part of our job,
And our future is now on the line.

It matters, it really matters,
The people in charge hope that you don’t care.
It matters, it matters,
They don’t want you deciding what’s really fair.

It matters, it totally matters,
There may not be a chance like this again
It matters, it matters,
If you say “not now,” then please tell me when
It will matter.
