WASHINGTON, November 22, 2015 – After tonight’s episode Heads Up there is only one episode left in 2015 making this the not happiest time of the year. Instead we are wondering if Glenn survives; Who called for help at the end of the last episode, Always Accountable and will Alexandria survive the largest zombie herd ever?
And that is the subject of tonight’s episode – the herd, the walls and the survivors.
Season 6 has been about the systematic shattering of Alexandria’s safety via multiple threats inside and out.
Daryl was captured last week by escapees from The Survivors, which they are, but its survival at the cost of other’s lives. The make The Wolves look domesticated. In that episode we met Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista) and the short lived Tin (Liz E. Morgan( last week, when Daryl’s humanity was aptly rewarded.
Fool Daryl Once could have been that episode’s title.
One thing I love about the show is the constant weighing of morality that leaves Rick and Daryl the most morally grounded of all.
Tonight continues Rick’s group fight for something more than survival… They’re fighting for home and family, and it will be defended against any threat as we are deep into the process of setting up for the 2015 Mid-Season finale so that over the holidays fans will be kept busy on social media, keeping the show and excitement alive until the show returns in February 2016.
If the herd breaks the walls before the mid-season break, it means Season 6 will start up again with our guts in a familiar knot as comic fans know that the wall breach means things could get mighty rough for Carl in the future, and he is due for something more than the slap fast with Ron that had fans laughing.
