LOS ANGELES, February 14, 2014 – If you are looking for beauty, remember the name Kristen StephensonPino. Since an early age, StephensonPino has captivated international cameras with her knack for striking smiles, resplendent form and intense presence, diversifying in just a few years from cosmetic and fashion modeling to major acting roles on the silver screen.

Filled with traits reminiscent of classic Hollywood with her romantic chemistry of cute giggles, dreamy eyes and even a birthday on Valentine’s Day, it’s no secret that StephensonPino is a rising star to watch and one of the most sought-after models. I had the opportunity to connect with StephensonPino for a heart-to-heart interview on her Valentine’s Day style, asking her about her secret to unforgettable impressions and what qualities she believes make men more attractive to women.

Unassuming, tenderhearted and every bit as beautiful in her outlook as she is on camera, one quickly gets a sense from talking to StephensonPino that she is a woman of extraordinary compassion with deep-seated values that could only have been tempered by faith and patience through exceptionally difficult challenges in life. In our exclusive interview, StephensonPino advises women to look beyond appearances and consider how “a man respects and treats others” and tells men to focus on affirmation, appreciation and chivalry as a must for relationships.

Dr. Danny de Gracia: Kristen, Happy Valentine’s Day … and Happy Birthday! I’m sure our female readers will be interested in getting some beauty and fashion tips from you. In your opinion, what is the best way to approach getting dressed up and looking great for special occasions like Valentine’s Day? How do you pick the best outfit?

Kristen StephensonPino: Valentine’s Day is a great reason to wear your best clothes. I like to have two different outfits, one for the day and another for going out in the evening, and of course, the theme is love so I make sure my outfits are red or pink and even have some fun with some frilly lace.

And why not try a new hairstyle? I like to wear my hair down with a wave. Accessorize your look with sparkle, shiny shoes, flashy earrings and a necklace and bracelet that stand out. I like to keep my makeup a little more on the natural side and add a little glitter to my eye makeup with a popping lipstick [color] like red or pink. I [also] love orange with my skin tone.

DDG: What’s your favorite perfume?

KSP: I love perfumes that smell clean and fresh, one of my favorites is Shania Twain by Stetson.

DDG: So, for our male readers, what kind of gifts do you advise for the special lady in their lives? Everyone always gives flowers and chocolates, but I think if everyone is doing that, there’s no originality. What’s your perspective?

KSP: My boyfriend will have a trail of rose petals that begin at the front door and take me down a path until I reach the end, where a sweet surprise is waiting for me. It’s so cute, I love it! Originality is where it’s at, because it shows that you really care and want to make an impact on a relationship.

It doesn’t have to cost a lot of money, it can be something you make that is from the heart rather than just purchasing something and hoping it will be good. Write a romantic letter and mail it to her. Take her for a romantic walk and hand her a single rose. Dance. This year, guys, make something special for the one you love. It may surprise you how much she will appreciate it.

DDG: What kind of qualities do you think make a man more attractive to a woman? These days there’s a lot of game theory experts on the Internet talking about attraction but most of them don’t seem to make too much sense. What’s your thoughts?

KSP: I think a man is very attractive when [he] opens the door for me, [or moves] me to the inside of the sidewalk instead of allowing me to walk near the street. It may be easy to be first attracted to looks, but I would not truly start there because there is so much more than a handsome face. The way a man respects and treats others is a big plus.

I remember the first time I really saw my boyfriend Torrey in a truly attractive way: I was swimming at a friend’s house at night, and it was cold outside and when I got out of the pool, I didn’t have a towel [and] none of my friends did. [The] next thing I know, he walked up to me and said, “here, take my towel” and wrapped me up in it.

After that, I thought to myself, “Wow, I really like this guy!” and he opened the car door for me and gave me a ride home. The thoughtfulness he showed me really got me and I thought to myself “hmm, I should call this guy up and get to know him a little more.” Well, its four years later and I’m still with the same, sweet guy.

DDG: That being said, what’s the single most important thing that men can do for women in their lives?

KSP: [One] of the most important things that a man can do for a woman is to always appreciate here instead of just taking her for granted. This can be with a hug, letting her know she looks pretty, or just making sure she understands how grateful you are for what she does.

I know this works, because when I am upset with my boyfriend, he just has to tell me something nice, like I look beautiful or I love you, and I can’t help but smile and the next thing we know, we are laughing and I can’t even remember what we were fighting about in the first place (laughs).

DDG: So, since it’s Valentine’s, what would you say is your all-time favorite romance movie?

KSP: My all-time favorite romance movie is Moulin Rouge! a musical romance story. It’s very creatively made, because you can see how it begins as one story but then turns into a crazy love triangle, where even pure love cannot conquer the tragic ending. There is never a dull moment, I love it!

DDG: And last but not least, Kristen, is there anything special you’d like to share with our readers on this Valentine’s Day?

KSP: Valentine’s Day is a time that people wait for to share and celebrate love. [But] why wait? Do it every day, be spontaneous and have fun. I truly believe that it’s the little things that express the love and happiness that can fill a heart.

This Valentine’s Day, my wish is that everyone takes time to stop and take a look at all the beauty in the world and do something different, like lay a blanket out with your special someone and look up at the stars … it’s truly magnificent and romantic. Happy Valentine’s Day and happy birthday to all you love babies.
